THE WAY OF TRUTH


You know something that is so hard to come by these days : TRUTH

You can’t buy it...you can’t beg for it...you can’t just find it by looking…..and you can’t find it in the world of Avalon\Camelot. I mean the pure truth...100% all natural ….100% right on the money

Oh you can find some things that have a dash here or a pinch there allowing it to dovetail into some of your personal truths. Shadows that give the illusion of truth.

Lies….now those are easy to come by...turn on the TV...read a paper...read a thread planted to make you doubt the real truth you read the day before.

Mind boggling huh?

Is truth then just a personal perspective??

What I believe are truths probably not what you think is the truth…...I know the sun will come up tomorrow.

Some can argue that may not be the truth….and they would be absolutely right.

So then truth is personal...but…

Here it comes

THERE ARE UNIVERSAL TRUTHS

What the creator believes is truth….now that’s real truth.

What he\she thinks is real is what is truth.

So a truth to me is an opinion to you.

A division….a big old wall right between you and me.

Cause isn’t that what it comes down to:

Religion: 1 god...many gods...his\her name

Morals: I love that...Oh...I’d never do that

Until we can strip away everything and link up with the guy standing next to us….All things are hidden.

A collective soul that believes what is the best for EVERYONE

Not you...or the guy down the street

EVERYONE!!

You can’t hide...you can’t deceive

And the feeling of belonging

And what we all believe is the 100% pure no additives TRUTH

Now to get to the GUTS…

I want your truths

I want to hear what you believe to be true.

Maybe we are all closer than we think with our truths.

Maybe writing them down will show us that we’re not that different

No Liars or deceivers here…..

This could be a volatile thread if it takes off...or it may die on the vine

Please don’t despair on others beliefs!!!!

Hi, I'm a newbie and nervous. I am wondering about your great timeless question.

I am true to my self. I believe you will be true to your self. I think the separateness is an illusion to keep us apart. I believe everyone is capable of anything great and small. Truth is hard to find out there. The whole truth and nothing but the truth is rarely told anymore, a bit here a bit there to make illusions to truth. But, since we all perceive reality different, truth is different for everyone. The veil is always there. Do not tell me what I can or can not do is a great truth for me.

Hmm, just what do i believe?

I believe anything is possible and nothing is set in stone..
i believe the 'answers' come from 'within'..
i believe in the overwhelming goodness of humanity/other lifeforms/all creation..
i believe the tptb are instantly made tptw in our individual lives by simply deciding to ignore them and doing what you want to do..
i believe everything happens for a reason..
i believe in the simple power of a smile..
i believe in reserving the right to declare the above subject to change (see #1)..

but mostly i believe in music, i believe in love! :lol3:

I have also wrestled with the question of Truth what it is, where to find it and what to do with it when you think you have it!

I feel that Truth is something directly experienced


I have come up with my own list

I believe a child's laughter is the Truth
I believe a mother nursing her child is of the Truth
I believe a loving family is of the Truth
The unconditional love between two people is of the Truth
Being the best person one can be is of the Truth
Being a sovereign human being, that is taking responsibility for who you are in the world is of the Truth
Children singing is of the Truth
My little dog Lady is of the Truth...she never gets angry and is always loving
Having integrity, especially when the world around you doesn't, is of the Truth
Going out of your way for another human being is of the Truth
Having no personal agenda for gain in helping others is of the Truth
Consciously bringing your loving light out to the world everyday is of the Truth
Living each and every day, knowing the dark plans of tptb, and choosing to have faith in mankind, is of the Truth

I believe we are made of Love and that each time we find ourselves into separation with others or the world at large it is because we have forgotten it and this only accounts for our unhappiness.
For me the ultimate truth is Love itself.
