Time seems faster than usual

I know this topic isn't new but I'm absolutely shocked that we're already in another weekend. The days fly by too fast. It's almost overwhelming.

Something good must be happening. The fallacy of time has faded and will likely be unnecessary. Without worrying about time, we can accomplish more and there's less stress.

As do I and I still have mixed feelings on it.

If we could replace Mondays with a new day, call it Funday, I'd feel much better.

Funday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Cliff High calls this the compression scheme. Eventually once we hit the zero point, we then start experiencing the opposite, where days drag on.

Sunday Funday has been my motto for years... Sunday Funday is my BEST day of the week! Although I have noticed with great significance that time is speeding up... Heck half the time I don't even know what day it is never mind what month!... :lmao:

Re: Time seems faster than usual

I remember growing up reading in science fiction / fantasy novels about other planets at critical points where time was actually speeding up for them. The people would still go about their business, but be like, man things are just going by so fast.

I thought that was pretty trippy and wondered what it would be like for that to happen? Well, I got to find out, because I personally believe that's exactly what's happening here on earth right now at the end of this age.

Time is indeed speeding up, seconds are somehow slightly shorter than seconds before.. it doesn't seem to mean we get less accomplished, more like we speed up somehow, but the days, weeks, months, decade whizzes by doesn't it?

My understanding is, we get to the critical point, and then we move into a whole new consciousness at a more interconnected level in a higher dimension (a new 5th to be exact), and then time goes the other way, seconds get much longer, time slows down and we can stop and smell the flowers again :) (Although we should be stopping and smelling the flowers now as well of course)...

That being said, I think as we move more into connecting to the higher consciousness within us, we can live in this world where time is speeding up without actually getting caught up in it or noticing it. It's more like a wake up call to get off the treadmill and connect to the 'still small voice within' that is truly beyond the illusion of time.

It's designed to help us connect with the eternal Now.

Same here.

I work 3rd shift so that only adds to the confusion. I know that this week, the days started in the late 20s but I couldn't remember if it was the 25th, 26th or 27th on some days.

It's gotta be true.

I swear, it can be overwhelming at times but I have moments where my multi-tasking is off the charts and I'm not a multi-tasker at heart. I think I can somehow "manipulate" time to make it do what I want but it means that I need to have a lot of energy to put forth.

It's a nice feeling to be able to relax and enjoy the time. It's just very rare nowadays.

I fully understand what you are saying 14 Chakras... It is why I haven't worn a watch in over a decade... Go with the flow... Although somehow, someway, I am still always on time if not ten minutes ahead of schedule... Go figure :wink2:

I too, haven't worn a watch in over 10 years.

I do have a blackberry that I check time with but it's not the same.

Regardless, time does move faster, especially when I'm not paying attention.

I have been waiting to see my fiance for 5 mths... i finally get to see him on the 17th and although it seemed like ages in the meantime I feel like I just saw him yesterday... How does that work?... He doesn't feel the same but in some sense i know he does... he feels like it's been forever, I feel like it wasn't at all! It all went by way too fast... 5 months sure doesn't feel like it used to... What happened to time???... Don't get me wrong, I love the guy to death, he is my soulmate but what happened to the agonizing pain of time taking so long???...

Re: Time seems faster than usual

Not gonna lie... In a sense I love it... Five months feels like one in comparison to what I recall time being like. But then again what is time?... Is it only a perception???

for me the time has been speeding up for a few years now...Since now I am on vacation and I do not have to go to work I do not care what time it is, and it feels so good not to know what day of the week it is and what time,,,,even what month...

I understand... the less you seek the time... the faster it goes even when you try to make it stand still. I have wanted it to fly over the past few months and oh my how it has... I contribute it to not paying attention to time but I did hear somewhere that our 24 hr cycle is now a 16hr cycle. Which makes sense to me by how time is FLYING... But really?... How would that work? Is it exponential? Are we going to time warp into a different dimension for real at this pace???... I'd love to think so :thumb_yello:

From Cherokee Prophecies of Lee Brown, in day's "pineal gland awakening" thread:

Quote:

At this time you’re going to see that things will speed up, that people on the earth will move faster and faster. Grandchildren will not have time for grandparents. Parents will not have time for children. It will seem like time is going faster and faster. The elders advised us that, as things speed up, you yourself should slow down. The faster things go, the slower you go. Because there’s going to come a time when the earth is going to be shaken a third time. The Great Spirit has shaken the earth two times: the First and Second World Wars to remind us that we are a human family, to remind us that we should have greeted each other as brothers and sisters. We had a chance after each shaking to come together in a circle that would have brought peace on earth, but we missed that.

This is too cool. Just to see that this is such a widespread phenomina.

Lots of sceptics are trying to fob it off with the "your just getting older" bs but we all know its not.

A week is absolutely nothing now. Damn them weeks are just flying by at such a rate that i forget what day it is sometimes. My job requires me to be up to speed with such things but its actually becoming a bit difficult.

Roooollll on the good times!

Time has been speeding up since I was in high school, so about 1992-ish onwards.

Re: Time seems faster than usual

I feel that this phenomena has to due with the accelerated rate at which our consciousness is progressing and the evolution of the human species as a whole.

On an almost unnoticeable level for most, our brains are being able to process data and information at higher rates of speed on a quantum level. This results in he appearance of time speeding up. For the majority of people this phenomena is not noticed or shrugged of as "I'm getting older" as previously stated, however for those such as ourselves we are accepting the reality of the situation and it's importance on our changing lives and the world around us.

As we all are well aware of, time is not a linear and fixed concept only to be perceived from one static perspective. As our consciousness, and we as a species continues to evolve, this perception of time compression will become more apparent. The ultimate goal of all spiritual beings is to reach "enlightenment". In this state our brain and consciousness has reached the point where information around us is processed at such a high rate that time ceases to be a factor, and we can view the universe from any and all perspectives simultaneously.
