Huge Chemical Fire in TX, Bryan Evacuated

Hi Everybody,

Just heard of a huge chemical factory fire in the State of Texas. The town / city of Bryan has been asked to evacuate. More news when I get it...

Best regards,

Steve

UPDATE:

The chemical fire is in a fertilizer warehouse of the El Dourado Chemical Company. The company is afraid that ammonium nitrate will irritate skin and lungs to the population of the town of Bryan in East Texas and also residents of Brazos County.

Why are there ALWAYS chemical fires in Texas? Don't those hillbillies know not to play with fire?

Hi Christo888,

Try the following link which will take you to their "Breaking News" page. From there youcan find the headline if the story and a link to the latest take.

It appears that the fire has almost burnt itself out and they are scaling back the evacuations.

Best regards,

Steve
