Distant planet's roasting orbit

Quite interesting ... details of a planet with an elliptical orbit.

Nasa's Spitzer space telescope has observed a far-off planet that experiences wild temperature swings.

The gas giant has an elongated orbit that sweeps it to within a few million km of its star, before taking it back out to more than 115 million km

Talk about extreme weather !! :mfr_omg:

"atmosphere heat up from 530C to 1,230C in a matter of hours as it passed behind and close to its star." :sweatdrop::sweatdrop:

maybe> I do protest too much about earth's weather :lmfao: NOT!!

You just reminded me of when I was younger Gio and my neighbourghs (old age) moaned in winter when it was cold and summer when it was hot :mfr_lol:
I love old people.

As for the way our weather is now, they cannot fool the masses much longer. The change is already noticable all over the planet. And you do not need to be a weather man/women to know look out the window and see whats going down.

Peace
Respect
Iain
