Cliff said 7.10am UTC - what does UTC mean? How many hours before/behind GMT is it?

Universal Coordinated Time, and at the moment it is indeed 1 hour behind GMT.

UTC is 'Coordinated Universal Time' and is one hour behind British Time, according to the site.

the guys from HPH said 7:10 only because it sounds cool... 7/10@7:10 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) so dont expect the events to happen on the nose, cause from what I understand the event can happen at any time today.

...and the NY stock exchange hasn't even hit core business hours yet. Not until 9:30.

The time was 10 minutes after our UK stock exchange opened, and it correlates with the massive dip just prior to it going up slowly thereafter. See the FTSE chart.

All times are GMT. The time now is 01:40 PM.
