"The enormous, spiral light with its glowing centre, seen over Norway on 9 December 2009, has excited and baffled thousands of Norwegians including astronomical experts. What does it mean?

On 12 December 2008 Share International Foundation announced that a large, bright ‘star’-like object would soon be seen in the sky. It is a sign heralding the imminent appearance of Maitreya, the World Teacher, on His first television interview, which will take place in the USA.

Norway has their equivalent of the HAARP project.

From the other thread here on this, I read that someone cooperating with that project, published a schedule of experiments, in the area, which seemed to explain the phenomena... and published it in advance.

I'm not too thrilled about making judgments about other people's impression of events, but... think of applying the same rules you would if it was some form of terrorist attack:

• 100's of calls come in, all claiming responsibility for the event,
  "in the holy name of [- place name of you cause here -], and it's followers"
  after it happens.

• 1 call comes in claiming same before it happens.

Here I would bring up Occam's Razor, "the conclusion thereof, that the simplest explanation or strategy tends to be the best one.", and sneak away quietly.
