A Blessing of Tragedy

This is a true story. Tonight I met up with a friend of mine who works with a big hospital as an ER nurse. He started to tell me a tale of an event that actually showed me that there is a blessing in disguise of every thing that happens. And an intelligent design. this is the story, and I Ask you to participate.

Tonight a man came into the hospital who had had an argument with his wife and went into the bedroom and shot himself in the head. When he was received into the ER, he was pronounced brain dead. This man also had 4 children along with the wife, ages 4 to 12. Now can you imagine the Christmas these children had? less then a week away, and they will have to endure probably the most suffering they have ever had from Santa, and his Merry reigndeer.

But wait....this man was very healthy, and was harvested for 7 organs. And my friend was in charge of keeping this man alive long enough to harvest those organs, and send them off to 7 different people in need of those organs.

So there are 7 different families, some all the way from California, to Philadelphia which is where one of the lungs went, that are thanking God for the small miracle to keep their loved one alive to celebrate yet another Christmas.

Now here is the participation...To send Blessing to the children of the man who did such a thing. As they will need everyone's blessing here. So I pray you can all see the tragedy of this and do so.

And I can also see the blessing for the families that received the organs to keep their loved ones alive and to be able to spend yet another day with them.

This is a sad story indeed to share during the holidays, but when you start to think that things are bad....just remember that it could be worse. And like the Families that receives the blessing of the organs...life can also create miracles.

God Bless...Happy Holidays

So a single un-natural death prevented 7 natural deaths.

Weird.

Weird? Maybe...but blessings to the Children are called for here. The intent of the thread.

Beautiful Brook.

This is the way the Universe works.
even if some people involved dont understand the reasoning.

Nothing is an accident,
Everything that happens, is supposed to happen.
even if we dont understand the whys and the hows.

The Universe is good like that.

I will focus on this Mans family and his Soul,
and send as much love and comfort as possible.

and added Blessings to all who just recieved his blessings.

to everyone else...
please... see to it that you are, or arrange to be an organ donor also,
for when you no longer need them, someone else will.

Blessings and Love
Thanks Brook. :wub2:

Thank you Orion11 :wub2:

I believe that if we send a collective Blessing, it will be felt by those 4 children. It doesn't cost anything, and it is the spirit of giving after all the Christmas is about. :wub2:

You are a very special person, thank you for giving life to this story and sharing it with us

Celine,
It was just a story that made me stop and think about all the things that are wrong with the world. and brought about the realization that there is some reason for that which simply is.

Thank you for your blessing for these wounded children. :wub2:

And as I stated..when you think things are really bad...remember..it really can be worse....look thorugh the eyes of these children, and stop for only a minute and send a blessing :wink2: It will do your heart good as well :wub2:

Re: A Blessing of Tragedy

Yes, I too will send a blessing & love to these little ones & their Mom.

There are so many others around the world who are experiencing the same thing. Both trajedy & joy all part of the dynamic of this 3d reality. whenever I start feeling sorry for myself, I always stop & remind myself about the homeless, the sons/daughters that are fighting a useless war, the people who just lost their home, or those who don't have any food on the table. This usually is a reality check & I then am thankful for all that I do have.

Tks Brook for sharing this story......it is a reminder for us to step out of our own shoes & into those who are hurting.

Re: A Blessing of Tragedy

sending much healing/and, love to all involved

what a sharing, brook !!!

proof, that a bad event, can turn into a good event

the duality of it all, eXperienced by many

and, the echos of such,
will play out in all the lives, that get touched,
in the giving/and, receiving of organs,
as, this guys heart, will continue to beat on,
and, holds the potential, to do, the good things

so, many of the people who are involved,
so, many lives touched, in so many different ways,
we send, much energy, much healing, and, much understanding,
and, most of all light'n love to all

all are touched, by this type of story,
so much more, than, many realise,
the power of 7 times, in 7 different bodies,
this man, has given, the gift of life - that is powerful :)

thanks brook, for sharing :)

in the spirit of avalon/and, of camelot

it sure would be interesting, to have some one
co-ordinate, some kind of fund
where, when something like this happens
to a family

we show them, the power of project avalon/and, project camelot

by giving these kids, like this, a christmas ?

Just a bump ...hoping that some more of you will send a blessing.

I remember a time here when everybody would be in a collective thought pattern to send such healing blessings . Tis the season for giving.

It doesn't cost anything...just a moment and an intention :wub2:

Brook, thank you for sharing that with us. I send wishes of love to the mother, the children, the recipients of the organs and the doctors/nurses that transferred life from one troubled soul to the bodies of others.

What a powerful story Brook

The human condition is truly a dichotomy for all it's ebbs and flows are perfect in each moment in time

They say we already have our expiration date the day we incarnate

Maybe his higher self knew this on a deep level and why he chose to take his exit for the sake of the others who have more time here

For the children...love and healing from my heart to yours, sending you peace and comfort during this time of sadness, loss and confusion.

Re: A Blessing of Tragedy

I recently had someone tell me that balance was a key when it comes to emotion. One of the most difficult things when trauma as occurred. And when I thought of these children, well I thought of the emotional imbalance they would probably suffer for what will be a very long time to come. And I wonder how they will be able to balance such emotion.

So I thought it would be good if several of us here could send some healing energy their way.
