As more of our rights are snatched through terrorism watch measures, by big brother planting cameras on each corner to capture every action, as more land is grabbed under the guise of eminent domain, as this country plummets into headlong socialism – even Canadians, Australians and Brits are all shocked by it – as we expect government to fund our every need, we succumb to the seduction of government "care".

I say yes and no. Yes, it is happening, but no I don't think it is the will of the people. When I speak with Europeans, I can see a socialist attitude of the government will provide for us with the social programs and such and worker protections and so forth, but in our case who is actually benefiting?

I've personally witnessed a number of talented people get laid off from their full time jobs and I've also seen a number of these people take their skills and turn them into amazing freelance and home-based businesses. Are they making the same amount of money and benefits as before? Probably not. But, they are self-sufficient, they did get out of the box of working for one employer and many of them are actually happier despite the lower earnings.

Despite all of this socialist BS, I'm still amazed at many of the people who are making it and some of the innovative, entrepreneurial activities that are taking place in this country. We're the country that came up with the FU attitude. :tongue2: We told the British to stick it. Many people have told their former bosses to stick it and have done even better on their own.

Maybe I live in another world, but I just don't see who this appeals to.

This is a MUST WATCH not only for the UK folks but for all of us as the tentacles go far and they go wide. Us folks in Australia need to wake up to this also seeing as how much influence the commonwealth (nothing common about the wealth when it is held in the grubby paws of only a few) has such an influence on us.

I suggest after watching this, it would be a good time to get into some very deep research and to really start having your eyes opened. As Brian says, violence is not the key, only exposure of these people will scupper their well planned strategies.

1 more suggestion, look up a document called "The club of 300". I have had the document for a long time and don't have the URL anymore but it is out there and is also a MUST READ.

All of the isms fail because there are always power hungry humans waiting to exploit the current ism.

How about cannibalism? Or what about barbarism? As long as we're talking about isms, why not just lump them in as well? Words have meaning -- up is not down and down is not up. Saying socialism is in the same boat as any other ism is doublespeak.

Umm... did you watch the video? These people are living in George Orwell's 1984. Socialism is the government usurping individual liberties and consolidating power.
