Garlic is a brain toxic poison
Garlic - a Brain Poison?
from GARLIC - TOXIC SHOCK! Reprinted from Nexus Magazine, Feb/Mar 2001. Source: From a lecture by physicist Dr. Robert C Beck, DSc, given at the Whole Life Expo, Seattle, WA, USA, in March 1996. Asterisked entries (*) refer to a definition provided in the appended glossary. The reason garlic* is so toxic, the sulphone* hydroxyl* ion penetrates the blood-brain barrier, just like DMSO [a sulfoxide*], and is a specific poison for higher-life forms and brain cells. We discovered this, much to our horror, when I (Bob Beck, DSc) was the world's largest manufacturer of ethical EEG [electroencephalography*] feedback equipment. We'd have people come back from lunch that looked clinically dead on an encephalograph, which we used to calibrate their progress. "Well, what happened?" "Well, I went to an Italian restaurant and there was some garlic in my salad dressing!" So we had them sign things that they wouldn't touch garlic before classes or we were wasting their time, their money and my time. I guess some of you ... are pilots or have been in flight tests... I was in flight test engineering in Doc Hallan's group in the 1950s. The flight surgeon would come around every month and remind all of us: "Don't you dare touch any garlic 72 hours before you fly one of our airplanes, because it'll double or triple your reaction time. You're three times slower than you would be if you'd not had a few drops of garlic." Well, we didn't know why for 20 years later, until I owned the Alpha-Metrics Corporation. We were building biofeedback equipment and found out that garlic usually desynchronises your brain waves. So I funded a study at Stanford and, sure enough, they found that it's a poison. You can rub a clove of garlic on your foot - you can smell it shortly later on your wrists. So it penetrates the body. This is why DMSO smells a lot like garlic: that sulphone hydroxyl ion penetrates all the barriers including the corpus callosum* in the brain. Any of you who are organic gardeners know that if you don't want to use DDT, garlic will kill anything in the way of insects. Now, most people have heard most of their lives garlic is good for you, and we put those people in the same class of ignorance as the mothers who at the turn of the century would buy morphine sulphate in the drugstore and give it to their babies to put 'em to sleep. If you have any patients who have low-grade headaches or attention deficit disorder [ADD], they can't quite focus on the computer in the afternoon, just do an experiment - you owe it to yourselves. Take these people off garlic and see how much better they get, very very shortly. And then let them eat a little garlic after about three weeks. They'll say "My God, I had no idea that this was the cause of our problems." And this includes the de-skunked garlics, Kyolic, some of the other products. Very unpopular, but I've got to tell you the truth. Peace, Ampgod |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
Garlic being highly sulphurous leaches hevy metals, both from the soil AND your brain. These above symptoms are the same as liberated mercury in the brain.
My oral surgeon has a mercury vapor meter and consistently sees high levels in nearly all garlic ,eggs and chicken he tests, also onions. Obviously the levels are lower in organic garlic, but not as low as you would think. Trouble being, , there is much Hg in our environment now, in the air from coal fired power ( HIGH source), cremation, soil additives, ie chicken poop, and some compelling evidence for it being in chemtrails. If you have amalgam fillings and are a poor excreter ( many are, especially as mercury toxifies the sweat glands), love tuna, live near a power plant, or as my cousin's friend was unbeknownst to her poisoned from a grandfather clock with a mercury weighted pendulum, garlic will be dangerous. But for some it is the cure, I would always say organic garlic is the safer option, but not always. |

I used to take supplements. Regularly I would review the makeup of the supplements by inner-intuitive test. The first time I did that garlic (which I was told would help with fighting bugs) should be struck off the list. Now, perhaps, I can see why. More research needed. A.. |

:mfr_omg: Oh! No!
I've got a garden full of garlic and have been known to 'eat' large doses of it at times. My mental health has deteriorated in recent years (Depression) (?) |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
I don't like it very much, a little is ok but I hate the smell of it on peoples breath, in the past I have heaved when being stuck in a cable car with a load of garlic munchers :naughty:
I hope people stop eating it :original: |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
This is sad news indeed, I live in South Korea and we put garlic on everything...plus I love it too. It's not going to be easy giving that up. Thanks for the info though, I hope potatos are still good for you.

Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
Depression /anxiety is a no.1 brain symptom of mercury toxicity, but don't blame the garlic, it may just be showing you the true problem.
Sorry to hear it , Norman, its an all too common story. My mental health improved overnight with the PROPER removal of hidden amalgam, I thought I had had it all out years before and was confused as to why I never felt better, the uniformed previous dentist only buried it. It's been a long and expensive road, but ultimately worthwhile. Here is a good site for general info, but be warned, it's got a very strong Christian bias, but some are smarter than others with it, http://herballure.com/ubbthreads/ubb...tlist&Board=13 I eat garlic now with no discernble bad effects other than I STINK |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
Who cares about the brain, if it can't cross the minds eye into your entity behind it?
At least you die smiling. :mfr_omg: I guess, I will eat garlic and onion until I kick the bucket smliing. :mfr_lol: |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
Trance am, for many the brain IS the minds eye and if your bio chemistry is screwed than you are not able to smile OR die happy, you are just happy to die.
Believe me there are many poor suicidal souls out there that are plain old merc toxic, simple as that. if it doesnt get you young, then how about alzheimers? Did I mention the vaccine/ merc. top-up? Clever antics from big farma... Garlic is just the chelator, same as cilantro, which is dangerous for some and healthy for others. |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
Ooooh I'm sad if this is correct... I get candida alot and garlic has been the only thing that gets rid of it for me... Ive tried everything for many years..
I read some where..that chemtrials were getting fungel growth in to actual blood stream and that fungus or yeast was now being thought of as the cause of cancer...by maveric dotors and cancer specialists. Garlic is great at combating yeast growth in the blood? Oh dear! I have to say I feelno brain fog when I eat it... it just makes my breath reak... I will try and reserch this some more... another good yeast buster is Bicarbonate of Soda... but deosn't taste so good in Garlic bread! :mfr_lol: Antonia |

I've seen people nibble away multiple bulbs of garlic in one session. They certainly lived... Garlic has anti bacterial properties and it actively reduces your cholesterol. A garlic rich diet adds years to your life, it does not take it away. Just dont intravenously inject it.... It is true that if you inject garlic directly into the blood you will probably have very bad side effects.. I would not inject most foods directly into the bloodstream. I'm a big garlic eater myself. And I've definately eaten more than "some garlic in my salad dressing" I wasn't clinically dead afterwards. Trust me I would have noticed... Also the whole idea that if an ECG shows someone as clinically dead... They ARE clinically dead.... That or the device is broken. If you can talk to someone then a proper ECG cannot show him as clinically dead. It's as simple as that. And anyone who thinks otherwise is kindly encouraged to study the matter and educate themselves. Seriously, don't take this mess seriously. The urban myth has been around since forever. WW1 soldiers put garlic on bullets to be sure to kill opponents with only flesh wounds. Fact is that this was superstition it did not have those actual effects. Now if you want some food advice. Take green olives, fill them with fresh garlic. and leave them to soak in olive oil for a few days. Then eat with a big cold Coca cola and maybe some goat cheese like a good Fetah. Enjoy. |

One way to remove those heavy metals from body is to take one teaspoon of bentonite clay mixed into 8 ounces of water before bedtime. It is paramagnetic and will attract and remove the toxins from the system.

I think everything is about balance.Research on this and that...this is 'good for you','this is bad for you'-i let my body do the talking. When someone 'fancies something' i think t's a way of your biochemistry letting you know of certain depletions in your body and so you satisfy them with preparing 'what tou fancy' if your resources allow it.A little bit of knowledge can be very dangerous;i'm not saying that the research done is lies;just listen to your body more and not dwell so much on contradictory research.'They' now say butter is good for you-i grew up in the age of polyunsaturates and the 'butter is bad for you' era. Then one has to consider that the benefits of one thing outweigh the negative effects of something else and vice versa. The amount of worry that some people will be subjected to over these matters goes beyond the benefits of avoiding garlic or butter or certain vegetables and teas etc.Stress and anxiety are a main cause for concern and certain researches that more often than not tend to contradict over the long term are not going to help anyone.Balance-listen to your body.If you fancy a beer have one-if you don't then don't-it applies to all forms of consumption including most food stuffs.
In the meantime get drunk everyday, smoke copiously have coca cola with every meal (if you manage to eat) curries at least twice a day, chinese for breakfast, mcdonalds for dinner-i don't think you can go far wrong!!!LOL. Humour and a little sarcasm there by the way! Balance. |

Garlic: a broad-spectrum antiviral...
Garlic has been used for thousand years. An Egyptian medical papyrus dating from around 1500 BC discusses the use of garlic in 22 prescriptions. Garlic was used in World War 1 to fight typhus and dysentery. In World War 2, British physicians treating battle wounds with garlic reported its benefits in warding off septic poisoning and gangrene. In 1944, a Chester I. Cavallito, identified garlic's strong odor as the compound, Allicin, as an antibiotic. Tests found raw garlic more powerful than penicillin and tetracycline. Literally hundreds of studies confirm garlic as a broad-spectrum antibiuotic against lon list of microbes that spread disease, including btulism, tuberculosis, diarrhea, staphylococcus, dysentery and typhoid. Garlic is antibacterial, antifugal, an-tiparasitic, antiprotozoan, and antiviral. The National Library of Medicine, in Bethesda, Maryland, a prestigious repository of medical literature, contains about 125 papers on garlic revealing the potent compound that appear to retard heart disease, stroke, cancer, and a wide range of infections. Garlic can help your brain function. Dr Garagus had noticed an article in the Chinese Medical Journal. Chinese doctors referred to the ancient practice of administering garlic. They fed and injected garlic into patients with a serious infection called cryptococcal meningitis. Of the sixteen who got the garlic, eleven survived. For a cure rate of sixty per cent, this was not bad, considering that this infection gets in the spinal cord and into the brain. Even some powerful antibiotics can't cross the blood-brain, barrier to attack the bacteria. The meant garlic, or at least some chemical of garlic probably did travel from the blood stream or spinal fluid and into the brain, where it destroyed the bacteria, and caused no side effect unlike prescription antibiotics. Dr. Garagus looked up the medical literature and found that garlic was extensively used to treat tuberculosis. In fact days before man-made antibiotics, garlic was the drug of choice against TB. At the turn of the century the head of the larger tuberculosis ward in Dublin reported remarkable cure rates from eating, inhaling, and smearing garlic on the chest as an oitment. Around the same time in New York, a physician compared the effectiveness of fifty five tuberculosis treatments and found garlic the best. The anciet Egyptians worshipped garlic. Poling the Elder, a Roman admnistrator and naturalist living in the first century AD recommended garlic for no fewer than sixty one ailments, and better company could one want. Even Louis Pasteur in 1858 put a dollop of garlic in a petri dish and recorded that the bacteria died. Researchers at George Washington University had confirmed a chemical in garlic that thinned blood. Tuberculosis is on the upswing in the United States. Major carriers of this mycobacterium are those infected with HIV. Some AIDS victims are infected by a fungal bug called M. Avlum, previously seen only in birds. Funagl infection in the United States have doubled or trippled in the past five years. Drs. Garagusi and Delaha were seing more blood samples infected with by these straines of fungus bacteria. To see if garlic is as effective against fungi as the Chinese medical report said, Dr Delaha peeled and ground ten bulbs of garlic in blender. He extracted the active ingredient, allicin, from the garlic pulp, and the result was a frozen extract of garlic. He put thirty strains of seventeen species of mycobacterium in sterile petri dishes and then introduced the garlic compound in various concetration. Then he watched the bacteria grwo in the non-garlic dishes. The one with garlic in the dishes withered and died. Garlic killed or did damage to all fungal bacteria. Garlic not only did damage to fungal infection, but also to those that caused tuberculosis. In fact, it was extra potent against the TB bacteria. Bettern than the standard antibiotics, garlic rips apart the mycobacterium cell walls or interfers with their enzymes so they starve to death. Dr Garagus said he wished he knew, how and why garlic works. |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
People. Don't believe it. Big Pharm hates Garlic. We can grow it for pennies in our back yard and not ever need an antibiotic.
Garlic is the greatest of all herbs besides alfalfa. You worried about toxins? Take activated charcoal for a week, then replenish those essential minerals back. |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
Bad Breath. Garlic will result in garlic breath for a little while until it is fully digested but if you are concerned Natures Sunshine has a high potency garlic tablet coated with chlorophyll that prevents this exact thing. So you can take big does of it and not worry about the breath issue.
Get to know Natures Sunshine products. Become a distributor just to buy it for yourself and family and friends wholesale. The more you buy the better the wholesale price. Try to resist selling it for retail (unless you have a store) and help a brother/sister out. Love and peace and good health, Kelphi |

Garlic is one of nature's most powerful, proven and ancient healers.. along with Honey and many herbs also...
I thank God for Garlic, as on more than a few occasions it has healed some nasty stuff for me personally (Wisdom tooth Abcess for one thing)! I guess this "research" just adds to the "Don't believe everything you're told" maxim... and also, there is a long history of big Industry/Govt./Pharma trying to "prove" the dangers of nature's ancient and proven remedies. Hence how they made a mutli-billion £s fortune from nature's medicine, then claimed it as their own.. just one classic example being Aspirin.... which is nothing more fancy or scientific (or costly!) than White Willow Bark... Nature heals... Pharma steals! |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
This makes sense, if some of us are suffering from fungal attacks or yeast outbreaks; Garlic is going to poison these and make us feel better. My grandfather ate a lot of garlic and was getting really mentaly off. He loved DMSO. If garlic kills fungus and yeast that means it also puts a lot of work on your liver.
I will have to do some experimenting...Don't poo poo this... food is life, maybe we need to grow up and see it as a cure for fungus and not just a smelly aditive to your pizza. |

Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
years ago, one of my Doctors told me I needed to bring down my blood pressure. He said to try a clove of garlic each day.
so I went by an Italian store and bought a bag of Garlic. I like garlic so started eating it with everything trying to figure out how to put that much Garlic into my diet each day... the gas was intense, people would run for thier lives when I let one rip, but I kept eating garlic... I went back to the doctor 2 weeks later and my blood pressure had dropped 30 points... I told him I was eating a clove of garlic a day showing him the size of a bulb and he Laughed... he said a clove is just one of the pieces... heheh oops... a friend had Hemorrhoids that he had been fighting for years, I did a search to see what I could learn, the Greek had found an answer a few thousand years ago, they would crush Garlic with aloe plant and poke it up inside... He hasn't had a problem since, when it starts to act up he gives it a treatment and poof, its gone... and as for Garlic affecting psychic abilities... I eat garlic daily... :winksmiley02: |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
Good Morning everyone. I pickle my garlic, using the same brine recipe I use for my garlic dill pickles. That way I always have "fresh" whole garlic. When members of my family started getting the sniffles or sore throat I would have them chew about a half dozen of pickled cloves and they never got sick. My son had perfect attendance at school throughout his entire education, including college, where he is now. Pickling it takes out the strong bite of its flavor and I use them right out of the jar for cooking. It's actually the crushing of the garlic that releases the enzyme that activates it's healing properties. I'm not sure you get those benefits from taking the capsules. It would depend on how it was prepared.
Secondly, as for the breath I have two suggestions. I use Closys toothpaste - it has no flouride, it has no foaming chemicals and it has odor-neutralizing agents that instantly remove the bad breath "bugs" on contact and will last for hours. Another breath freshener we use is curly parsley. Ever wonder why they put in on plates in restaurants? It's a breath freshener. Try it - it works! |

Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
I'll buy the science - let's assume it is bad for us.
Most of what we hear like this, from poisonous garlic to flouride in the water, is ultimately information that we have to digest as individuals, and then use to make decisions about our own health. Here is my decision: I love garlic. My homemade lasagne would not taste the same without it, and my fight against vampires would be severely hampered.:naughty::lmfao::lmao: I got my cooking skills from my momma, who used garlic in the food I ate during those critical years of brain development. I consider myself a reasonably intelligent, open-minded human being. Garlic poisoning has not interfered with my thought process or brain development in any meaningful way. I think I will continue to eat copious amounts of the stuff. No one lives in this physical plane forever. Information like this is designed to play on our fear of death. No matter how healthy you live, you will die. Your pineal glands are organic structures, that will rot with the rest of your corpse after you give up the ghost. Whether you believe we only get one go-around on this mud ball, or many, it would be a shame to deny ourselves pleasures such as garlic because of health risks. I'm willing to trade five years of doddering old age at the end of my life for the flavor of garlic today. If you understand the theoretical origins of religion and organized spirituality - the desire for human beings huddled around in their caves to make some sort of sense out of grandpa Ugh's death - then you know that death is the very thing that we fear the most. Why do you think everyone is pursuing "transcendance"? No matter your belief structure, those who seek "transcendance" are seeking to preserve their identities into the great beyond. Whether you are a fundamentalist Christian hoping to "transcend" after death, or a "third eye" new ager trying to "transcend" in life, you are seeking to mitigate your fear of ceasing to exist. Note the word "SELF" in the phrase "higher self". Accepting that your energy may continue without the sense of identity you have now is scary for a lot of folks, and the reason they drift toward religions and spriritual "systems" that promise the continuation of the "self." If you accept that the "self" is a fleeting condition, garlic and flouride become a lot less scary. I would just like to conclude by saying that I mean no one here any disrespect or insult, and the above comments were not designed to ridicule anyone's beliefs. They were merely constructed to convey my own. Peace, love, and funny colors ya'll, The History Circus |

Garlic is not needed for health. It is a toxin.
For sickness cures garlic is a bad choice. There are other non-toxic, more powerful and safe ways to not get sick.:thumb_yello: Now we know! It now becomes a personal choice to better ones health or make excuses for one harming ones body by continuing usage. Peace, Ampgod |
Re: Garlic is a brain toxic poison
Rocky: The mixture is nothing more than salt, water and white vinegar (distilled). However, if you've ever bought pickled garlic in the store you will note that most often times it is mushy. Mine are crisp and each clove is whole - they crunch when you bite into them. I add a little bit of alum to my brine. The pickled taste is mild, but still distinctly garlic. If you would like the recipe, just let me know.
Swanny: I am very aware of the permeation of garlic through the skin, etc. and you are correct. Thank you. However, I was referring "specifically" to the bad breath issue, not body odor. |
