The Dragon is supposed to be the best sign. People even plan to have babies in that year. Interesting that 2012 is a Dragon year :original: |
Re: 2010 Year of the Tiger
It's now Feb 14th Valentines Day here in the UK. My wife is a wood tiger and I'm a water tiger, also an Aquarius...Hope this is good for both of us.
Happy Valentines Day & a happy new Year |
Re: 2010 Year of the Tiger
Happy new year :original:
There was a new moon last night as well |
Re: 2010 Year of the Tiger
Looks even more promising for me, as there was a full moon on Gregorian New Year.
2 new moons + 2 tigers +I'm an Aquarius & were entering the Age of Aquarius.... what ever that means. :original: |

Feel that fire tiger inside and let it burn! :naughty: Feel the fire, in your heart. Let it come forth, and remind you what you are. Feel it, Know it, Live it. :wub2: |
Re: 2010 Year of the Tiger
I used this site:
http://www.chinesefortunecalendar.co...eastrology.htm According to this I'm a "White Dragon" born in the year of "Red Rabbit" and have "Metal" as my element. Though my lucky element is "Water". |

As red = fire and such. Red Rabbit can also be Fire Rabbit. Just depends if you want to use the "color" or "element" Your day (representing you) if I follow this right is red Monkey. IE Fire Monkey. This site seems to use all the 4 pilars in comparison to the only 1 pilar you see on many other places. Taking the year of your birth rather than Year, month, day & hour. Well I'm far from understanding this. I just checked a little the last hour. I still can't find anything what your Day sign will mean... Everything I find pertains to the year... If I understand this correct the year horoscope is kinda vague and general for that whole year. But then there is each day to day horoscopes that can detail you specifically much more accurate. Don't listen to me though! I know nothing really. |

Re: 2010 Year of the Tiger
As somebody pointed out earlier in the thread, I got the five Chinese elements wrong. They have wood instead of air.
Also, the description of what metal signifies that I gave is only one version (based on two different books on Chinese astrology), and conflicts with some other versions I've read, including one somebody else has quoted in this thread. So I get the strong impression that the original teachings were lost, and obviously at least some of the authors on Chinese astrology must be coming from guesswork rather than knowledge. |

Re: 2010 Year of the Tiger
Hey Swanny ...
Talking of the Tiger I just found this on Fulfords update... This week marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year. This will be a very special Year of the Tiger. The year of the tiger comes in-betw een the Year of the Bull and the Year of the dragon. This is very symbolic, I believe. The Bull is a fitting symbol for the West these days, virile and aggressive but lacking in wisdom and patience. The dragon is very old and wise but is perhaps too cautious and passive and can be seen as a symbol of the East. If you mix the best elements of the bull and the dragon, the result is a tiger. This week I will fly to Rome as a representative of the Black Dragon Society to negotiate with the leaders of the Illuminati and the Teutonic Knights. Hopefully we will be able to come up with a formula for a new financial system controlled exactly 50/50 by East and West. Eventually, a financial system controlled by all of humanity is likely after a transition period needed to make sure issues like corruption, governance etc. are all dealt with. Ha, Swanny!! Some other words too. I recall being at an exceptionally grand and sumptuous Sunday dinner in Lyons. I happened to say, "Je suis excite!" Embarrassed silence, and I did not find out until the next day my faux pas :naughty:
