for sure It was wild!!! I was in it!!! I live very close to durham and am in and out of town on a semi regular basis. Knocked the power out at my family shop and I'm not sure if its back on yet. I almost got trapped on my travels by fallen trees that had the road completly blocked. By the time I turned around to go back another route there road was almost un-passable from derbies! There was power lines all over the road. What a mess! I sat on a hill outside of town and watched the storm go through. it was very intense to see! There was an 11 year old boy killed in the conservation park and many of the buildings in the business area were damaged...some of them are gone! The people in the printing shop took cover under the print press and that saved their lives as the roof collapsed. There was also some damage to barns on some farms outside of town. I tell ya...the lightning that was coming down was something wild. My thoughts are with the family and their loss and my many friends in the town of durham!

Hi JT
Sorry to hear about the loss of life in Ontario and weather storms are going to get worse thanks to G.W. Fire storms are the most concering with heavy winds in Australia and we are bracing for another big wave this summer.

Cheers
