Default Civilized World Must Protect Iran and Consequently Itself

http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/col...protect_iran-0
Source: Pravda.Ru

Just one look at the map will tell you...something ominous is brewing. Iran is completely surrounded by elements of the evil empire. Iran is on a hit list. Since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the empire has drawn up a hit list after which several countries, one after the other, have been ravaged after a plethora of lies and deception. No doubt this hit list was drawn up in Tel Aviv.

In over 200 years, Iran has done absolutely nothing to infringe on its neighbors. However, quite the contrary is true. Iran has suffered regime change before at the hands of outsiders and has not forgotten it.

For more than half a century, Britain and the US have menaced Iran. In 1953, the CIA and MI6 overthrew the democratic government of Muhammed Mossadeq, an inspired nationalist who had the nerve to believe that Iranian oil belonged to Iran. They overthrew him and installed the venal Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and, through a monstrous creation called Savak, built one of the most vicious police states of the modern era until the current leadership formed the Islamic Revolution.

Iran is a country of great history and culture, and a people that welcomed their Christian neighbors with open arms when they were under threat of total extinction.

Now we are supposed to believe that Iran has certain evil intents regarding Israel and incredibly the rest of the entire world. We are being lied to by the masters of lies, the father of lies. Let us start with this "wipe Israel off the map" stupidity to show the lowest depths these liars and merchants of war and genocide will sink. This is what President Ahmadinejad really said:

"Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad."

One word rings a bell here and stands out: rezhim-e. It is the word "Regime", pronounced just like the English word with an extra "eh" sound at the end. Ahmadinejad did not refer to Israel the country or Israel the land mass, but the Israeli regime.

This is a significant difference, as one cannot wipe a regime off the map. Ahmadinejad does not even refer to Israel by name, he instead uses the specific phrase "rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods" (regime occupying Jerusalem). So this raises the question.. what exactly did he want "wiped from the map"? The answer is: nothing. That's because the word "map" was never used. The Persian word for map, "nagsheh", is not contained anywhere in his original Farsi quote, or, for that matter, anywhere in his entire speech. Nor was the western phrase "wipe out" ever said

Yet we are led to believe that Iran's President threatened to "wipe Israel off the map", despite never having uttered the words "map", "wipe out" or even "Israel".

According to Farsi-language experts like Juan Cole and even right-wing services like MEMRI, what he actually said was "this regime that is occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time."

The current fuss about Iran's nuclear enrichment program is playing out so identically to US canards about Iraq's WMD that we must wonder why it is not meeting only roaring international derision. This is especially considering the multiple agendas obviously in play regarding Iran -- oil, US hegemony, Israel and neocon fantasies of a "new Middle East" mouthed by the liar of all liars, Condi Rice on behalf of the Bush administration.

On December 18, 2003, Iran signed the NPT (nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty) Additional Protocol on Nuclear Safeguards, according greater access and the possibility of intrusive inspections to Iran's nuclear facilities by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This treaty specifically gives Iran the right to use nuclear energy for PEACEFUL purposes.

On the other hand, Israel sits on over 200 nuclear devices and refuses to sign the NPT. Israel's nuclear facilities are not available and totally closed for outside inspection by the IAEA.

Meir Dagan, the Chief of Mossad, told parliament members in his inaugural appearance before the Israeli Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that Iran was close to the "point of no return" and that the specter of Iranian possession of nuclear weapons was the greatest threat to Israel since its inception.

But who are Israel, the USA or the west to speak about dishonesty, bad intentions, secret plans, dastardly threats and all sorts of other paranoid garbage?

Should Iran be attacked, the entire world could well be thrown into a world war. No matter what one thinks of the powers in charge of the Islamic republic, is this what you want in your future? Nuclear war or world war breaking out because of lies from liars with long track records of lies such as weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Time for the civilized world to act in unison to stop the war pigs once and for all.

Lisa KARPOVA

PRAVDA.R

We have been conditioned to accept what we are told in the media and any and all nations who do not wish to be part of a New World Ordedr are for all entensive purposes linked to radiclism and extremism . Just go down the list Iraq , Afghanistan ,Argentina and now Iran this is no mistake and by design. As one can see from the article above the truth has been stretched once again Iseael has a right to exisit the regime in Israel is what musst go a far cry from what the western media reports

Only a fool would attack Iran and they know it.

It would be the biggest mistake the U.S Military ever made.

Israel should be held accountable for their nuclear stash.

Iran will change from the inside, the process is already happening the harder the government cracks down the stronger the population rises against it.

The country is run by an absolute lunatic, the Grande Ayasolla.

The moment he has the bomb he will use it on the Palestinians and prevent the world from visiting the Holy lands in our lifetime and those of our children's children.

They don't have weapons grade Uranium yet, but they will by the end of the Mayan calendar...

Amazing how the whole world is spiraling towards that point.

He will be stopped before he launches...

The US is in containment mode right now trying to keep a cancer from spreading. Tough talk, beating of chest and rattling of sabres but it is to let the Iranian people know the world is behind them..

Iranians deserve freedom and to get the boot off their throats...

He will be stopped from a bullet from inside Iran, not the US or Israel

Sounds like you've been drinking the kool-aid doled out by the U.S media.

Actually, if the Ayatollah wanted to seize power, he'd just have to take care of Mahmoud and do so. He hasn't.

Mahmoud is a puppet but again, if the people who pulled his strings really wanted to destroy the West Bank, they would have done it by now.

The best interest of all is for the West and Israel to back off on their rhetoric.

Do you know anything about Iran?

The monkey answers to the Master...

The country would be much better off if he had any power but as soon as he steps forward and tries to do what he knows is right he gets crushed.

He's a blacksmith that knows what the people want and need, but his lips move and the Ayatolla's words come out...

go to NCR-Iran.org if you want to know a little more about Iran

That is told from an insider shared through media outside of the country.

Rocky you should research Iran`s history and if the CIA were not in there right now trying to subvert the current government there would be no need to squash any uprising . Its not that Iran can not stand Israeli`s they just do not like the zionist fraction running the country I don`t blame them I don`t like the zion`s either , in ancient History both of these nations lived at peace with one another. We haven`t adjusted to using telepathy so if you have some info that could change our minds please feel free to share it

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran–Is...tion_relations
Biblical

The beginnings of Jewish history in Iran date back to late Biblical times. The biblical books of Isaiah, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, Chronicles, and Esther contain references to the life and experiences of Jews in Persia. In the book of Ezra, the Persian kings are credited with permitting and enabling the Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild their Temple; its reconstruction was carried out "according to the decree of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia" (Ezra 6:14). This great event in Jewish history took place in the late sixth century BCE, by which time there was a well-established and influential Jewish community in Persia. Persian Jews have lived in the territories of today's Iran for over 2,700 years, since the first Jewish diaspora when Shalmaneser V conquered the (Northern) Kingdom of Israel (722 BCE) and sent the Israelites into captivity at Khorasan. In 586 BCE, the Babylonians expelled large populations of Jews from Judea to the Babylonian captivity. Jews who migrated to ancient Persia mostly lived in their own communities.

What really annoys me no end is the complete hypocrisy of the so called western puppets . According to them Israel , the rogue state numero uno , can have 200 or more atomic weapons but Iran should have zero . All this while other puppets states like Italy , Germany , Belgium , Netherland and turkey can have atomic bombs in their arsenal courtesy of NATO .

http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.p...rticleId=17550

The argument that Iran is a "regime " is really total horse dung considering the coups d'etat in the US (the Kennedy , the Bush coup and other assassinated presidents ) . Regarding the presumed morality of the western leaders a person should not go past the policies of continuous wars , torture in Guantanamo Bay , globalization and support for the criminal Apartheid state of Israel . Nobody has got the monopoly on morality in this world .
I hope Iran is left alone . In the same situation I would rather eat grass and have the bomb than obey the orders of some nincompoop in Washington .

Canada PM Harper mumbled about Iran last week.

Unfortunately, he's now (dear) leader ('president') of the G8, too. He met with US VP Joe Biden on Saturday evening, at the Olympics in Vancouver BC. Joe Biden today said Iran ...yada yada. Berlusconi has had protests in Italy already, because he's yapping about Iran sanctions, too - I guess Italy trades a lot with Iran. The G8/G20 and ... summit is in Canada this summer:

Toronto asks Tories to move G20 summit - Feb 13, 2009
The G20 summit will be held June 26-27 and is expected to take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, a stone's throw from the CN Tower. The G8 summit will still be held in Huntsville on June 25-26. http://www.ottawacitizen.com/busines...645/story.html

I heard Harper's CPC helps fund the real estate people/settlements in Israel. I read this -

Canada is helping the right wing settlers. Charles McVety raises money to
help pay for the settlements. McVety being a personal friend of Jason Kenny
gets money from the taxpayers to help this along. This is also why Harper
has no problems with the torture of Muslims and is now getting bullish on
Iran for the G8. Canada is helping to exterminate the Palestinians. Harper
believes in the Jihad against the west. Way to go Canada.

I actually wonder about the CPC funding in general, as they appear to be quite well-funded for several years, e.g. attack ads, marketing, campaigning constantly, closing Parliament annually. This, after the Feb 11, G7 Summit in Iqaluit: The financial world's biggest power brokers – from World Bank President Robert Zoellick to U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner – came and went during the two-day G7 finance ministers' summit without a hitch.

Also, the TORTURE files in a newsletter:

IndictBushNow had spent weeks communicating with CBS representatives for the launch in Washington, D.C., for our wrap-around bus ads that read: "TORTURE is not just wrong ... it is ILLEGAL. Because NO ONE is above the law," followed by our organization's website address.

But now, CBS officials have suddenly changed their tune. In a communication we have just received from CBS Outdoor (which has the contract for the placement of bus ads in the nation's capital), the advertising media giant rejected our bus ad, suddenly claiming it constituted "attack advertisement."

It looks like a few people still buy the 911 justification for cruel, inhuman, degrading... like www Harper people. Things seem to be picking up steam. And there's still Goldstone and Gaza. The USA is actively trying to get China to sanction Iran, too. I'd rather they ALL dismantle the nukes.

Everyone who attacks Iran is out of his mind and diggs his own grave.
That would not only result in a mega-Vietnam it also will bring the whole world into turmoil!

Just look at the situation:
Iraq is flat like a pancake and so US troops could easily conquer it via the Blitzkrieg strategy.

But in Iran, that's impossible!
In the west we have massive mountains, the Zagros Mountains, they're Rocky Mountains-like.
In the center we have a giantic desert and in the east again mountains.

Iran is 3 times bigger than Iraq and has almost 50 mio more people!
And the Iranis are much more dogged in fight!
They showed that during the 8 year long 1st Gulf War with Iraq.
Despite the fact that Saddam had massive military aid by the US they couldn't gain any Irani territory.

The Shias aren't an enemy you should provoke, they're really damn radical.
And reach out to Southern Iraq and Central Afghnanistan.

Look what Shias in Lebanon did to the high-tech army of Israel with all their Merkava tanks, which are almost like the Abrams tank.
The Shias in Lebanon stopped them with almost nothing!

And the worst thing Iran will do isn't the rocket bombing of Israel (perhaps not possible because of the muslim inhabitants there) the worst thing they will do is to close the strait of Hormus.
That will bring the world to the economic abyss!

Only an idiot would start that war, a Bush or Palin.
But perhaps Obama would do it too, because he's a puppet of the lobby.

And what's really funny, all the heads of the governments in the West swear allegiance to Israel, again and again, but all their populations disagree to that by 99%. They dislike Israel for all their crimes.
I wonder who will fight? I could imagine a massive insubordination in Western armies if they attack Iran.

Thanks for posting the article Nothern Boy. However my research shows that Iran has not invaded another country for 500 hundred years and not 200 hundred years – but what’s a few hundred years between invasions!

Another fact is that US has bombed 49 countries since 1946 whereas Iran has not – apart from that altercation between themselves and Iraq – oh yea, US was involved in that too!

Iran is very tolerant and welcoming of other religions and a documentary shown here in UK not long ago showed a town where Jews, Christians and Muslims live in a beautiful town in Iran (sorry can’t remember the name) where people had absolute love and respect for one another and there were no divisions whatsoever and they all lived in perfect harmony with each other and mingled openly. The only thing that was not allowed was alcohol – which is probably why there was not trouble.

Yes, it seems pretty obvious that it has been planned all along. Just look at the evidence, Iran is completely surrounded - apart from the north as that's Russian territory. It doesn’t bear thinking about!

That is why Saddam turned on the Kurds, launched chemical weapons on one of their main cities and went from village to village filling their water supplies with cement.

Kurdistan is a country that was cut into 4ths, their ancesters lead back to the Medes from a time when they ruled from Asia to Egypt. Just as all great empires have done, they rose and fell to defeat.

Kurdistan is less than 100 miles from the Capital of Iran, and death squads are sent in regularly to different areas to capture and hang "voices" for public display. There is a very strong movement inside of Iran right now covering the whole country to remove those in power, so I need to disagree that they would put a strong fight up against invasion forces. It would be more like the first gulf war where arms were laid down and tanks salluted as they rolled towards the capitol.

as the King says the biggest threat are the 2000+ speed boats rigged for suicide bombers and over 10,000 torpedos that travel faster than any others in the world ready to launch on the straights to shut off the flow of oil.

That understanding is one of the reasons there was a sudden delay in moving forward while massive pipelines have been built to move oil through ports outside of that area.

From what I am hearing these pipelines will be completed by early 2012...

The whole world is hoping that day will never come, but announced for the anniversary of the Revololution was the fact they are only 2 steps away from completing weapons grade uranium.

weapons grade will be produced and tested by the end of 2012...

I'm afraid I haven't looked that far ahead, but from what I can see, they are the only ones rising with the strength to take on the "secret" governemt running the world.

The information being fed down differently is being spread by those afraid there might be someone strong enough to challenge.

and don't get me wrong to who my alliegence is towards, I have been crushed for 30 years on a project that will change the world for the better by the secret government and I know they have already painted a bullseye on my forhead...

If China thinks they have the strength, best of luck to them...

Of course its a plan already in place. The more important question is who's plan that is and whom intends to dictate that plan. The answer is Israel, and their continued influence on American foreign policy.

Well few people know that at the beginning of this Nation those fighting for our freedom ran out of funds for arms and supplies and one very rich man came forward and opened his coffer to give the final push needed to make it happen.

That man, was a jew, that died a pauper, the Fathers of our country promised for as long as it stood it would be there to help his people.

People can come up with all sorts of "reasons" for support.

Does that justify genocide, and countless criminal acts, all in the name of prophecy?
