Re: This is an amasing story -
Gorgeous video, Susan. Thanks.
I saw a documentary several years ago about a team of dolphin researchers going out to sea to find a pod of truly (tooly) wild dolphins with no previous human contact. It took them a while to get the dolphins around, including playing music under water. As the time went on, one dolphin named Dee Dee became friends with one of the divers. At the end of the film she brought him a Sea Cucumber, her favourite treat. In Awe Of Creation, Bushycat Last edited by bushycat; 11-18-2009 at 02:04 AM. |

Re: This is an amasing story -
Thanks for the vid Susan that really brought a tear to my eye, how lovely!
shame about the poor penguins though, all about survival i know if we didn't have to eat we wouldn't need to kill, but these are anilmals no other food available to survive, then we have us the humans with a wide availablity of food sources yet we still need to kill to eat and we are supposed to be evolved we are more like animals than the animals themselves. |

Re: This is an amasing story -
Yes...this is happening... its pretty cool.
The other day i was walking my dog down the river, as we do quite often.... when we come up levee i could feel it.... the biggest coyote i've ever seen was just sitting there on its hind legs. At first i felt my senses highten as I knew this beast could smell me for some time. I then knew it could smell my dog.. being the inbred imbecile that he is was totally oblivious to the wild predator he was walking toward. This spirit of the coyote met eyes with me... we shared peace that morning... doggy still an imbecile |

Re: This is an amasing story -
If you knew the coyote was there so did your dog. A dogs sense of smell is 30 times better then a humans in correlation a bears is around 300 times greater then a humans. So unless i am mistaken then the dog would have known about the coyote way before you. One coyote is not a problem its when you find more then one that you end up getting in trouble

Re: This is an amasing story -
Very interesting story regarding the coyote and dog
My daughter was sitting out on her front steps watching the kids play football with her two cats a few weeks ago From out of the backyard walks a red fox.......she frooze and so did he. A stare off for a minute or two and the fox just started walking on his way. I dont think either knew what to do. Not even the cats acted out of the ordinary. A very good sign of things to come IMO. |
