Re: is it any wonder that society is violent?
that is NOT my idea of an eXchanger LOL
let's all start to barter & eXchange with ourselves !!! that is the plan, that is, proven to work in fact, we should just, start printing our own money off our computers just like the banksters do !!! we need a new eXchange !!! that way, we would have plenty of our own money !!! and, NOT need their money Geez -- we need to wakeup !!! |

Re: is it any wonder that society is violent?
OK don't throw any rocks at me, yes it's a morbid idea and done in real bad taste and especially painted red, but to think that it could cause people or kids to go out and stab people, well I don't know. I think if that was the case then whoever would do that has a lot bigger problems and could be set off by anything, in which case then should we ban all pictures of guns and knives and such?
If anybody is set off by that then they have some major, major mental problems and could probably be set off by any little thing. |

Re: is it any wonder that society is violent?
Dan, I live at the moment with my daughter and my beautiful grandchild Sasha. I have had this opportunity to observe closely this little one and her development. Moreso than when bringing up my children, I was too busy then. I have been amazed at the little ones quick learning (she is eighteen months old). Everything she sees, she replicates, or attempts to!! I did not realize how strongly little ones image in, copy what they see. Im not saying that she would replicate stabbing (Im sure she wouldnt!!!!) but I see now how dangerous the images children see, on tv, violent games etc to their developing minds. All images are taken on board. Kids dont know right from wrong at a young age. They are copying what they see. And what they see is being replicated and the adults are too stupid (or not so stupid!!!) that they cannot see that. Our brains work in maths and images.

I agree100% with all of you, but to interject a little here. How about the "BOSS BLOCK" or the "BANKER BLOCK"

Re: is it any wonder that society is violent?
I agree Carmen, it's the little ones that don't need to see these things.
Good one chitty and opf, wasn't it the Japanese that had a little room they could go into at work and take a few swings of a bat at a stuffed bag just to take out some frustrations? hmmm |

Re: is it any wonder that society is violent?
That is no more obscene than a cartoon character getting smashed by a rock or something. Some things are not meant to be taken seriously. This is one of them.
