This show was aired on the BBC some time ago in the UK.
It prompted some comments on the BBC website at the time of the kind "This makes my TV License fee for the last twenty years worthwhile" It has never been played again, and the BBC do not make it available for purchase. Adam Curtis is one of the less paranoid/ hysterical alternative documentarians out there. Also recommended: The Living Dead (Dr. Donald Ewen-Cameron's cold war brain experiments) The Trap (Awesome Expose on psychology and Game Theory) The Century of the Self (Edward Bernays, Frued, propoganda) He has a penchant for editing together fascinating and often hilarious archived clips in a clever way. Enjoy! |
