Google Maps captures UFO ?

This story in todays paper. Not sure what to think. Seems real..........

it's a reflection, does not look like anything more than that. Pic was likely taken from behind a window

I'm sorry to say, but this is most likely the sun striking the lens of the camera. When the sun is on the side of the lens and it strikes it at the right angle, you will get this purple distortion - lens flare.
