Default Has anyone heard of Maitreya??

Here....

For over 30 years author, lecturer and artist Benjamin Creme has been preparing the way for the emergence of Maitreya the World Teacher.

On 12 December 2008 Share International distributed a news release announcing that in the very near future a large, bright star will appear Photograph of the star taken in Oslo, Norway, on 27 January 2009 at 8 pm. in the sky visible throughout the world, night and day. Around a week later Maitreya will give his first interview on major US television.

well, both I guess!
this guy sounds like he fits the bill, with a nice co-ordinated blubeam event too.

we need a new Zagami interview.....I tried to listen to the audio of the last call with Kerry, but the sound was terrible and I literally could not hear what he was saying at all....

The real Maitreya is a buddha and ascended adept. In my view the whole Benjamen Creme / share international org is a front for the NWO. I don't believe this fellow with a turban and a black beard is Maitreya :

It is the stereotypical image of an ancient holy man. When Maitreya returns he might just be recognisable in an Armani suit with a clean shaven visage. In the mean time he can be found within as the spirit of 'loving kindness' which is his namesake and keynote.

Well - how strange - or not so strange! I have been reading lots of
stuff lately on New Age teachings - trying to discover what is really
going on, as I was into this for many years.

Then last night was thinking - strange no mention of "Maitreya" on
the Forum - and this morning this thread!

As with everything it is a confused picture - but Maitreya if he
comes (and my understanding is he is said to be already here)
would, in my view, be the Antichrist!

Complete Interview:

Benjamin Creme Interview on Coast to Coast 7/31/09

Quote:
This interview caused George Noory to become physically ill! Listen as Creme discloses that the heralding in of Maitreya is not by a star as he has proposed in the past, but rather this supposed star is a UFO that is five football fields in length. (part 3 and 4) Time to wake up people! Part 4 is a must listen to !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Peaceandlove and Viking for your comments, and the
link to the George Noory interview. I got by without getting sick!

Ineresting that what Benjamin Creme is saying fits well with
the description of the Antichrist - as more a politcal leader
than a religious one (at least at first) - even down to the
miracles.

So much stuff is coming out at this time!

Many years ago, I "tried" reading one of the earlier books by Benj. Creme. I could not bring myself to finish it.......I kept getting the feeling that this Maitreya was indeed the Anti-Christ or something close to it. In fact, it made me uncomfortable reading it at all. It bothered me so much, that I could not even keep it in my house, I threw it out in the garbage. My instincts were sending me red flags in a big way.

Please forgive my repetitiousness...but I can't resist. Play both videos simultaneously...but watch the Stargate video (sound off) while listening to Leo. Play the Stargate video twice while Leo speaks. Then think long and hard...and read between the lines. How does this relate to Lord Maitreya? Think Draco > Sirius > Earth. Think Giza Intelligence. Just think.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3A6_blpqpU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6z7O7UZxipM

If Maitreya is the Anti Christ, than where would that put Supriem David Rockefeller? I've been reading Wes Penre's ebook ('Supriem Rockefeller, Messiah or Anti Christ?') for the past couple of hours and for now he's number one on my list. Here is a guy that has the looks of a moviestar, the Rockefeller imperium as his (economic) power base & more or less represents himself as 'saviour of the world'.

But perhaps there is more than one Anti Christ dwelling our planet. One for every (religious) taste. Now, that would be a boxing contest the whole world would like to watch! And the winner is ...

Anyway, I suggest everybody downloads the 'Supriem' pdf a.s.a.p. & start reading it, because that is the heaviest stuff I've read in a very long time. And this is for once not about invisible shapeshifters, but a real, flesh & blood person, with pictures etc.

Well I wont be prejudging. I haven't met this one yet

I have seen Benjamin Creme in person when I lived in the UK - I went to one of his lectures and asked him a question even.

I used to read share international about 15 years ago.

You know - even if some genuine "good" guy does show up to help us humans out, there will be people who think he is the antichrist and people who beleive the opposite.

Maitreya - or this one anyway - is rather overdue - I am basing the statement on the words written by Benjamin Creme in his newspapers/magazines from some time back.
A..

I've heard of Maitreya. I had seen ads in the newspapers over the years too. I studied about ... actually her (Kuan Yin, China) roots in Buddhist eschatology.

More self-proclaimed Maitreyas

The following people listed are just a small portion of the several people who claimed themselves to be Maitreya. Many have either used the Maitreya incarnation claim to form a new Buddhist sect or have used the name of Maitreya to form a new religious movement or cult.

* Gung Ye, a Korean warlord and king of short-lived state of Taebong during the 10th century, claimed himself as living incarnation of Maitreya and ordered his subjects to worship him. His claim was widely rejected by most Buddhist monks and later he was dethroned and killed by his own servants.
* In 613 the monk Xiang Haiming claimed himself Maitreya and adopted imperial title.[13]
* In 690 Empress Wu inaugurated the Second Zhou dynasty, proclaimed herself an incarnation of the future Buddha Maitreya, and made Luoyang the "holy capital." In 693 she replaced the compulsory Dao De Jing in the curriculum temporarily with her own Rules for Officials. [14]
* Lu Zhong Yi, the 17th patriarch of I-Kuan Tao, claimed to be an incarnation of Maitreya.
* L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Dianetics and Scientology, suggested he was "Metteya" (Maitreya) in the 1955 poem Hymn of Asia. His editors indicated, in the book's preface, specific physical characteristics said to be outlined—in unnamed Sanskrit sources—as properties of the coming Maitreya; properties which Hubbard's appearance supposedly aligned with.
* Raël's Maitreya claims[1] center on the content of the Agama Sutra (Japanese: Agon Sutra)[15], supposedly a very ancient text written by Buddha himself, but which has been deemphasized or forgotten by the majority of Buddhist cultures.[16] Raël has claimed directly to people attending Asia Raëlian Church seminars, that someone born in France, a country which is often symbolized by the **** (or rooster), west of the Orient, meets the criteria of the Maitreya. Rael himself claims to be this individual.[17]

Default Re: Has anyone heard of Maitreya??

For every true teaching there are many false teachings.

Think about how many people claim to be representing "Jesus" and doing things that are the opposite of his teachings.

Maitreya is an ancient buddhist name and a very benevolent Being. Has nothing whatsoever to do with the Benjamin Creame dude or the turban guy and is not going to be showing up and leading the world astray, and if a guy named Maitreya does show up in some spaceship or something along with a Jesus clone, which you never know how these things are going to go down that's for sure... then yah, that would definitely be an anti-christ I would agree on that one...

However, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maitreya read here about historical Maitreya the spiritual Being.

As with the second coming of Jesus, the coming of Maitreya, spoken about in the Eastern world, is not the coming of some dude, it is the coming of the Christ and Buddha consciousness to planet earth.

Those who are looking for the outer saviour may very well be duped by the anti-christ. Those who look for the inner saviour, who seek and find, will be reborn as a caterpillar into a butterfly.

NO - Buddhism is not "Satan's" religion. "Satan's" religion, is whatever keeps you locked in a death grip of fear where you stop from remembering who you are and worship the false god outside of you rather claiming your rightful role as a co-creator with the infinite and the Son or Daughter of God that you truly are.

There is a huge amount of dis-info around truth. The fact is, when you become enlightened you don't disapear, you move up to a higher level in the classroom of infinity. There are many who have graduated to the level fo schoolroom teachers of planet earth, they are in the ascended realm.

You see this in Jesus story when he talks to the two light beings in the gospel.

There are Ascended Beings, there are Ascended Masters, they are the schoolroom teachers of planet earth plane and simple... At some point, we will see that and learn to work with the LOGOS, the Light, the Beings of the Light who are ascended, to help bring heaven to earth. This is part of the puzzle of truth whether you 'believe it or not!"

However, truth is truth. Setting the record straight here sharing some of my understandings, for if you have a light, you should not hide it under a rock.

Lord Maitreya is a planetary Buddha and a Being of infinite Light. Simple fact.
