Yom Kippur
Yom Kippur
the Day of Atonement on this holy day every year before the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem the Israelites ceremonially sent a goat into the desert a socalled scapegoat which carried all the sins committed that particular year But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to be used for making atonement by sending it into the desert as a scapegoat. - ( Leviticus 16:10 ) interestingly the word translated as scapegoat is azazel in Hebrew Azazel in the Book of Enoch is one of the chief Grigoris or Watchers appointed by God to watch over budding humanity but Azazel with his ilks fell from Grace for revealing celestial arts including invocation and abortion for coming into the daughters of men and make children with them the Nephilim - the freaks of nature and the Anakim - the giants which devoured all foods and turned cannibalistic Enoch writes that the Archangels appeal to God to judge the inhabitants of the world and the fallen angels God admonishes the Archangel Raphael to bind Azazel hand and foot to cast him into the Dudael desert and heap upon him rough and jagged rocks for the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel and to him ascribe all sin the scapegoat |
