Poweful 7.3-magnitude earthquake strikes off Honduras coast
To: U.S. and Canadian Atlantic, and Gulf of Mexico coastal
A strong earthquake has occurred, but a tsunami IS NOT expected along the coasts of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, U.S. Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico states, and Eastern Canadian provinces. NO tsunami warning, watch or advisory is in effect for these areas. Based on the earthquake location, magnitude, and historic tsunami records, a damaging tsunami IS NOT expected along the Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, U.S. Atlantic, Eastern Canadian and Gulf of Mexico coasts. Earthquakes of this size can generate destructive tsunamis along the coast near the epicenter. Authorities in the epicentral region should be aware of this possibility and take appropriate action. At 4:25 AM Atlantic Standard Time on May 28, an earthquake with preliminary magnitude 7.3 occurred in the Caribbean Sea. (Refer to the United States Geological Survey for official earthquake parameters.) http://wcatwc.arh.noaa.gov/2009/05/2...e349908-01.htm |

Thank you for this.
I was not familiar with the NOAA/National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Weather Service website. |

The big question is: do you think it was provoked?

Re: Poweful 7.3-magnitude earthquake strikes off Honduras coast
Stewart Swerdlow comments on the quake today. He does not mention weather manipulation:
"May 28, 2009 Central America Shaken! A magnitude 7.1 quake struck off the eastern coast of Honduras last night, causing damage and death. The large temblor was felt from Belize to Costa Rica. It occurred along the Caribbean Tectonic plate. I have warned for years that this plate would be rising and cause seismic and volcanic activities. This has been increasing dramatically over the last 2 years. Eventually, tsunamis and displaced sea water will wash over Florida and the coastal Gulf region, permanently submerging the land. Now it is beginning in earnest." |

Close to the Pyrminds... Mayans... Panama canal to the south...
Isn't the canal Chinese controlled.... How abt all those old ships on both sides. " As Ti Me moves closer; 2011 is right around the corner..." There IS NO warming.... Water should come up abt 700-800 ft. Are you at 800 ft ASL. I guess we'll see.... http://www.iris.edu/seismon/ Trooly, Tango Last edited by Tango; 05-29-2009 at 09:33 PM. |

Here it says the depth was 10 km.
Look how many quakes where at exactly 10 km this month. http://www.iris.edu/seismon/last30.html |
