THAT was unexpected, dAkapacity!! and great news that it's under consideration. Cell phone customers should be careful what they wish for (their coverage)!! Phone makers should be careful what they're playing with (ignoring it)!! It's not just brain tumours, gonad issues for pocket carriers too. It's been on manufacturers' radar for a long time, over a decade.

The European Court of Justice will decide if the Austrian mobile phone operator Mobilkom may already use the 1,800-MHz frequency. The competitor Connect Austria (One) is not satisfied with the decision of the Austrian regulators to grant a free 1,800-MHz licence to Mobilkom. Connect Austria was to have the exclusive right of the frequency until August 2000 but had to face competition earlier because Mobilkom could not serve all its clients with the 900-MHz frequency.
