I remember this! I taped it off of TV, ironically. It's been 20 years since I taped it. You're right this scene is creepy. but it's an intelligent creepy. It's deep too. I may still have it on tape somewhere mixed in with my Doctor Who videos.

Update: I think I taped over it with Doctor Who stuff. So I just bought the DVD!

WOW...Anyone know what TV show this was on?
It is actually Claymation and not a cartoon.

That would scare the 'dung' out of little children.

The Adventures of Mark Twain. You can get it from Amazon for $10. It's a pretty good flick.
