Re: I need to identify a symbol
To me it looks like a crude basic drawing of Egyptian symbol / hieroglyph. The circle horns and candle stick...looking thing. I'm prolly wrong but I have seen it. Well...err ... seen what I'm trying to explain.
EDIT Done a quick google search (link below). See the dude on the far right...look at his hat. I have seen similar and better versions but can't remember where.....sorry http://www.holtzendorff.com/vacation...-the-kings.jpg http://www.stuffemal.com/store/image...te339_prod.jpg Last edited by SteveX; 02-03-2010 at 10:51 PM. |

Re: I need to identify a symbol
Luna exalted.
anyways here some ideas. The circle often represents the Sun, although a dot in the center is the usual. The crescent the moon. the 2 lines could be 11 or 2 1's, power number The circle an half circle can be considered a sign existing before the elements or the cross. Mortal androgynous adam, the beginning... the sign of mercury has those same elements except the 11s are crossed. |

Re: I need to identify a symbol
sacred cow ?
Hathor The cult pre-dates the historical period and the roots of devotion to her are therefore difficult to trace though it may be a development of predynastic cults who venerated the fertility, and nature in general, represented by cows.[4] Isis At some time Isis and Hathor had the same headdress. Fred posted this photo that always reminds me of a horned god or goddess Theban http://www.batcow.co.uk/strangelands/faith.htm Celt The Horned God was known by names such as Cernunnos, Cerne or Belatucadros, and was depicted as a humanoid figure who was more commonly depicted as having stag-like antlers rather than true horns. One of Cernunnos’ titles was Lord of the Hunt horned god symbol ?? |

Re: I need to identify a symbol
Thank you everyone for your help and effort .. I see this is the right place to come when in doubt .. the level of general knowledge on this forum is impressive
Its a crude drawing because I sketched it in MS Paint.. based on an astral experience I had with some beings with golden skin who had etched a golden symbol like this on their hats. They came from bellow the surface of the earth. I think it is pretty clear the symbol for the horned god .. I knew the circle is the sun , the half circle is the moon but I couldn't figure out the two parallel lines above it. After seeing everyones contribution, I think the two lines are the horns.. |

Re: I need to identify a symbol
Well obviously it has an astrological meaning.
Before looking at anyone else's response, my first intuition (often flawed) was... Orion But if you say you met entities in an astral realm and they come from below earth's surface, that pretty muchs knocks my theory of ETs from the constellation Orion. Argh. |

Re: I need to identify a symbol
I like the Spiral in the celt pic. I noticed that most of the spiral petraglyphs (from Lucas' material) also depicted horns on the figurines.
Maybe there antennas' and were supposed to start using them! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEgl6GkHO2Q |
