Clinton says Israel has right to defend itself
Here we go the war machine puts it foot on the accelerator. One of Hellary's first statements...How transparent can this now be?
http://uk.reuters.com/article/topNew...50Q4QE20090127 WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Tuesday that Israel had a right to defend itself and that Palestinian rocket attacks from Gaza on the Jewish state could not go unanswered. Clinton spoke as a fragile cease-fire ruptured between Israel and Hamas-ruled Gaza on the same day as President Barack Obama's special envoy George Mitchell arrived in the region to try and shore up the truce. "We support Israel's right to self-defence. The (Palestinian) rocket barrages which are getting closer and closer to populated areas (in Israel) cannot go unanswered," Clinton said in her first news conference at the State Department. The top U.S. diplomat, whose comments may be seen by some as giving Israel a green light to once again pound Gaza, accused Hamas of "offensive" action against the Israeli Defence Forces on the border. "It is regrettable that the Hamas leadership apparently believes that it is in their interest to provoke the right of self-defence instead of building a better future for the people of Gaza," said Clinton. An Israeli soldier was killed by a bomb on the border with the Gaza Strip on Tuesday. Israeli troops later killed a Palestinian, raising fears of renewed conflict after a 10-day truce that followed Israel's three-week ground and air offensive in the Gaza Strip. Clinton said the short-term U.S. objective was to get a durable cease-fire, adding that the Obama administration was concerned about civilian casualties on both sides and the humanitarian suffering. Asked about the humanitarian plight of Palestinians in Gaza, Clinton said the United States was looking to increase assistance there but did not indicate how much more funding was available or when the aid would be delivered. "The United States is currently the single largest contributor to Palestinian aid and we will be adding even more because we believe that it's important to help those who have been damaged and are suffering," she said. So does she support the dropping of White Phosphorous Bombs on Gaza too? Maybe she should be dragged in on the War Crimes list.
Anyway it's not a surprise as the Clintons are so NWO it's not even funny. |

Re: Clinton says Israel has right to defend itself
Don't get me started on Hillary Clinton. The Clinton's have a long history of people dying around them. They both already qualify for war crime tribunals. One of the more notable that received the "kiss of death" was Vince Foster. See what happens wth you play with black widow spiders.
The crew that gave us the Weaver incident, and Waco are back in power. Do we think things changed with the changing of the guard? The only ones that believed we were getting change were coolaid drinkers. As of last Friday Obama had already signed 25 presidential directives/executive orders, none freed America from its tyrannical occupation. I doubt seriously you could slide a sheet of tobacco paper between the US foreign policy and Israel's. Could it be they are run by the same people. |

Exactly, the Roddams have a history of black art involvements and you know about owd Bill-they all sing from the same songsheet-i can't believe people see any administration as any different to another-they think each new term with a new team are 'change' or different they are all the bloomin' same. This one has the potential to be one of the worst-he can think.

Quote:
It's important to approach the Obama administration with caution, not revulsion. After 8 years of Bush, can you really blame people for having a bit of optimism for the new administration? Say what you want but you should not make such broad generalizations of Obama's supporters. We will NOT get all of the change that we wanted but we have the ability to STEER Obama in the direction that we want him to go. He is the puppet of his supporters and not the other way around. With all the chaos in the world right now, a little bit of optimism can go a long way. I will say that I didn't like the choice of Hillary Clinton and I'm NOT surprised that she said what she said. |
