No, you're not alone...

We are in Brandon and have been following the world events closely for some time; regularly checking out Project Camelot as well as other sites.
There is so much evidence that the world is going to change very soon; we talk about making plans everyday.

We are just not sure where a safe place will be and what 'safe' really means. More often than not we agree that 'safe' means getting out of the city and the ensuing chaos.

We are beginning to take steps to protect, sustain, and nourish ourselves.
At this point, we are unaware of any others of 'like' mind are in our vicinity.

Glad to get some Manitoban's on here

I am glad you are taking those steps. I have been taking them myself, that is why i am up here. This community of 900 will stick together in rough times, it may be cold here but there is an abundance of food and it is a strong community with much Cree, dene, Inuk and of course white man

If i may say- try to get into existing small communities that are already living in transition.

Maybe well see you up here. ( I have a cabin on the tundra/tree line, we are in the process of purchasing wind power and installing a green house )

Gabe,
We were wondering... do YOU have a safe place outside of the city? We believe that a place that is not in plain view is important.
Not many caves on the prairies. LOL

As a matter of fact I do, though it's not a cave.

My uncle owns property around a lake near Elphinstone, right by Riding Mountain. It's far enough removed from anything major, lots of water, great soil and plenty of space. The cabin also has a wood stove and obviously, there's plenty of wood. Before I knew about any of this, I had considered going and living out there for a summer, creating a food garden, etc... Now I'm actively researching good ways to grow Manitoba crops. I also will be creating about 20 of the small magnetic generators that George Green displayed in his interview, so there will be a sustainable, free energy source. What about you guys?

That's good planning..
We don't have a place to go as of yet
..sold the cabin a few years ago.
We are going to build a hydrogen generator for sustainable power... hopefully versatile enuf for mobility when needed.

Namaste All,

I and My Wife have been watching things up North for awhile and We are prepared. We could be slightly more prepared but We're efforting that as quickly as possible.

We live North of Thompson.

It heartens Me and My Wife that there ARE others in Manitoba Who are INDEED Awake...

Now the Networking begins...

Peace, Light, Love and Unity to You All.

Sincerely and Respectfully,

Mercuriel
