Abortion, Euthenasia, Suicide, and Murder
I just opened a Pandora's Box with a thread on violence. Now I'm opening another one with a thread on Abortion, Euthenasia, Suicide, and Murder. I realize that this is probably one of the most painful and sensitive topics imaginable. But I think it needs to be focused upon at this time. Ethics are supremely important. Responsibility is at the Heart of Ethics....and Responsibility is the Truth Which Sets Us Free.
Abortion, Euthenasia, Suicide, and Murder are all about the willful termination of life. Most of the terminated life involved with these four words are normal and healthy lives. There is a small minority of terminated life which involves horrible medical problems and gross genetic abnormalities...some of which involve unimaginable pain and suffering. I mostly wish to deal with the termination of normal and healthy life. I'm reading a book titled 'How We Die' by Dr. Sherwin Nuland. Hopefully this will help me to properly deal with this difficult subject. Namaste Constitutional Responsible Freedom |

Re: Abortion, Euthenasia, Suicide, and Murder
i posted this at another forum.just a rant.i appoligize in advance if you find it offencive.also i didnt edit it,so all the xxxx and xxxx are different words for pee and pooh, lol
rant post, spontanious **** and **** and blood and guts.sorry for getting gross, but i've been thinking about these things in relation to mother earth. naked we are born and at one time, naked we were to return. somewhere down this path that humanity has chosen to be,we quit returning naked. somewhere down this path,**** and **** and blood and guts have become vile to us.we go out of our way to remove it from our site and smell. we say things like, this is where desease comes from.this is to dirty.this is disgusting. pissing and ****ting is natural.death is natural. mother earth likes natural things.she made them. we dont seem to like natural things. we treat our **** and **** with all kinds of unnatural chemicals.then we spit it into the echo system,so much so that it kills natural things. all the while boasting how smart and sophisticated we are. ok,so thats one thing that we dont give back. the plants and trees, our giver of precious air, like natural fertilizers. our versions, not so much. death and blood and guts. when is the last time you saw a naked person, with all their blood and guts still in place, getting buried without a coffin. i'm not talking about natural disasters.i'm talking about the human burial rituals. we remove the guts and blood.fill the cadaver with chemicals.dress them in their sunday finest.put them in a coffin.drop them in the ground. even if they are getting burned and urned. nothing for mother earth.not even leaving naked. the church, religion, merchants and ultimatly us are ripping mother earth off and not giving nothing in return. 250,000 in haiti 250,000 in asia and the tsunami 10 minutes of mother taking i wonder if mother earth would be less taking ,if we were more giving. naked we are born and naked we are supposed to leave............. Twisted Evil not sure if your following my line of thought or not.i'll continue ranting. so,say your some secret society, thousands of years in the making. you find all this secret knowledge on how to control the masses. you introduce your all encompassing consumerism to the masses. your only competition is a living entity.mother earth. you are a merchant and she offers everything for free.not good for your business. **** and **** and blood and guts arent good for business in their natural state either. this might seem off topic but it is part of a bigger pic in my head thou shalt kill no living thing war is an imbomination against those words.no brainer. goes against giving what you take. artificial blood sacrifice.eating meat sort of falls into this catagory, imo thats a whole other topic for me i think war satiates the merchants understanding of blood sacrifice. i think **** and **** and blood and guts are how nature intended it. i could be wrong about this ,but i dont think so. it might sound like i'm against hygene and sanitation, but i think a more natural approach is more natural.less environmental impact. as apposed to the merchants veiw, which only fuels their consumerism philosifies. while the merchant has been busily teaching us his philosifies,we are busily unteaching ourselves mother earths. we are nothing without her and yet the merchants are standing between us. sucks to be a consumer if tptb really do have a population reduction plan,my head tells me that it is more about an artificial blood sacrifice that a matter of over population. they are thinking that they can fool mother earth,so that when she wakes and want her dues, that she will be satisfied with their artificial blood sacrifice. doesnt sound very natural.i dont think she will be so easily fooled. i beleive in god.i beleive god has been veiled by consumerism.i beleive consumerism has veiled mother nature.i have no faith in religion.i have no faith in consumerism. all my faith is in mother nature.i'm just hoping there is enough of her left, when consumerism is finally revealed as an illussion. i beleive the universe will make things right. i beleive we all have a roll. like i said earlier, this is just a rant i think your post is very thought prevoking. abortion, euthenasia(i'm glad you spelled that for me,lol)suicide and murder in my opinion all fall into the constructs of consumerism. it is the grand lie,the ultimate mind twister peace...kent _________________ who will save you from yourself |

Re: Abortion, Euthenasia, Suicide, and Murder
Thank-you for your provocative comment Kent. I can imagine walking with you beside a lake in British Columbia...having a conversation involving the issues you raised. We really do live out of harmony with nature. We need to get back to nature...and live more simply...with much smaller carbon footprints. We go to extrordinary lengths to keep very abnormal, sick, and suffering people alive...at huge expense. Yet we willfully kill perfectly normal and healthy people...sometimes at huge expense. According to some...the gods and goddesses...human and non-human...want to kill 90% of us. God drowned the whole damn world in the Great Flood...according to the Bible. What's wrong with this picture?

Re: Abortion, Euthenasia, Suicide, and Murder
A person is declared 'dead' when they no longer have a heartbeat or brainwaves. Shouldn't a person be declared 'alive' when they have a heartbeat or brainwaves? Shouldn't a person be declared a 'murderer' if they willfully cause heartbeats and brainwaves to cease? Would this make an abortion acceptable up to the point at which heartbeats and brainwaves are present? Think this one through. The pro-choice people could have their way up until the point at which heartbeats and brainwaves were present. The pro-life people could have their way after heartbeats and brainwaves were present. This is sort of a Solomon-like distinction...which would probably make everyone angry...but it just might be the pragmatic thing (if not the right thing) to do.

Re: Abortion, Euthenasia, Suicide, and Murder
Not sure about Abortion, imo the soul doesn't enter the body until just before birth so that's not murder, just a vehicle being thrown away.
Maybe the soul decided not to come into the body or maybe there was never one planned to go in. Euthanasia is ok if everyone agrees it's time for that soul to leave. If someone was in so much pain that their life was unbearable and they wanted out then why not?? Why make them suffer more?? Used to think Suicide was terrible but now I think it might be for used for lessons for those left behind. Not sure about murder |

Re: Abortion, Euthenasia, Suicide, and Murder
I don't like euthansia or abortion but I just cannot stand in the way of someone's decision to utilize either.
If someone doesn't want to suffer for the rest of their days, they should have a choice. And let's not drag god into it. Religion is the biggest manipulator of human beings and if you don't think that that religion is responsible for the population overload in some countries, you need to examine it better. Some people consider birth control to be evil but I consider religious people who peddle poor children on TV to rich westerners to be even more evil and I hold their canonizing responsible for producing those children (refusing to teach birth control but promoting abstinence, which almost never works). |

Re: Abortion, Euthenasia, Suicide, and Murder
Who wrote the 10 commandments?? Personally I don't follow the bible, I live by my own rules
If there is no soul in a body then why is it murder?? Viking if you were in agony and had no hope of a cure and death was certain why would you want to stay any longer?? Why not leave?? |

but i think the act of abortion is still killing a living thing. a peice of the mothers soul/spirit,which is part of the whole of our soul/spirit, i'm not gonna use the word destroyed, but deceived. i think as far as euthenasia, murder and suicide goes, that thou shalt kill no living thing makes perfect sense. pain and suffering might not be your choice, but how you deal with it is. if you seek pain releif from the pharm/medical industries, your choices have been very limited. pain is as much a part of us as pleasure. a victim mentality, imo, just holds you back. fear of life, death, the unknown.fear holds you back. life is precious, and fear is a veil to how precious it is. death, is to late to realize it. i dont think death is the end. i at this moment would be a ease with all the choices i would make if confronted with any of these issues. no abortion(made that choice) no euthenasia(helped my dad through those thoughts,he's still around) suicide is something i am quite familiar with,i knew people that did and i know people that tried. my own choice is not murder is a real simple one, just plain wrong no matter how you slice it thou shall kill no living thing(even if you are real hungry, imo) even if the vast majority of the world decides its ok,i dont agree. peace...kent |
