Re: A musical interlude
From me to All of You Avalonians out there
To all who stand in a strange new place to all who try to lift their face in this strangest of times being part of what we call the human race To them who feel alone and cold know that shoulders strong and bold are here to help and bear that which you may be afraid to share The love I see that flowers bright will surely end the darkest night In my world strange it may be It is love hope and peace I see To them that have only tears to share realise these tears are droplets beyond compare these very drops that today you shed are the rivers and emotions on which we are fed Rivers of hope shed in pain they water the gardens as do the rain they feed the spirits of those that care never be afraid.....to openly share. Much love to all of you Z Isn't it strange that 40 years later I really REALLY appreciate John Denver's music. My apologies if this is a repeat, but it is worth it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpO0lsTQSs0 |

Lou Reed - those were great, Zeddo. Once I wanted to post Perfect Day, but someone else did at the same time (it was a cover, I think, or maybe Coldplay's), which happens around here. So, Lou Reed - Perfect Day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uri6LLCZVjg And, this one's very nice too - Antony & Lou Reed : Candy Says http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Em7gC0bq_aM I really like Antony and the Johnsons a LOT. Their website is cool too, if you're into beautiful graphics. I like it anyway. |

Re: A musical interlude
Wow this thread is huge. Good stuff guys. Lovin' the Lou Reed.
I only skimmed the last few pages so apologies if this one has been posted before, but it's really awesome imo. I've listened to like once a week since i first heard it last year. Bunch of great performers here but Grandpa Elliot and the Twin Eagle drum group are my favorite bits. |
