I watch one show: Discovery HD Theater's "Sunrise Earth." It never fails to make me take a deep sigh of relief...

Brinty...:

"Where does the light go when it goes out? "

The Light goes on and on forever.
It's just when you turn one "off,"
that light has already gone millions of "miles" beyond sight.

So fast, yes, that you cannot see the tail-end of it.
The light has gone beyond your consciousness.

I've tried to imagine, J-rod7, an enclosure with mirrored walls and a photon of light bouncing around inside it for perpetuity.

All this talk of light traveling large distances in a short amount of time reminds me of something.

It is a sign of the times that in one clock cycle of a modern computer, light travels around 20cm!

How far we have come.

My Frequency will pick up in a bit. Collating DATA has that effect...

Im still here but not reading and posting as much. I think its a time for 'doing' especially with spring advancing in the northern hemisphere. One can only take in so much before they need to comtemplate and apply what resonates with them.

I think it rather pointless going to another forum. Its like trying to avoid reflections in your own mirror!

Love and Light to All

I know for myself there has been a ton of craziness going down, so the mind is slightly distracted but as I said I'm usually tuning in to see what going on. This place is a salvation among others for the mind. It feels good to see that there are people even giving a **** about any of this from any angle you look at it. So I'll always be around, the less dedicated will fall but more should come. Camelot will have a big part in newcomers as will the people here in Avalon. Maybe some of Camelot has been compromised or under suspicion? I can pretty much say that this place is monitored if they are putting R.F.I.D. tracking chips in Gillette Razors than this is watched. But none the less Camelot may fall short but it's Avalon that will be Avalon, If Avalon /fails than there will be another, there already are. Nothing will stop this.

Peace,

For real? That is ingenious... swipe your card at the check out and they know who you are to either track the chip where it goes or program as you walk out the door!!!

I wonder how one could reverse program the chip and bring it back to the store.

Is there a website ... having fun with RFID chips...

Seriously though Machinamentum are they really doing that?

Not just razors, 888. RFID chips are going into just about all consumer products & the push for them is being driven by Walmart.

Thanks for that 86.

I knew that paying $12 for a pack of Gillette razors was outrageuos... Now I know it was so they could raise the 500 million to purchase their RFID's.

I am going to buy a bunch of chips and program them to answer "Paid"

I think rings and bracelets and necklaces can be made that are loaded with RFID's, that way the transponders won't know what to think.

A Michelin tire just walked out of the store and it was carrying razors, jeans, a shirt, lawn chairs and an umbrella and some Armor All.

Back in the late '60s Anchor, I was doing a course as a technician on main frame computers (the kind that filled a large sized room) and the instructor pointed out that unless the circuitry became smaller, computer speed was somewhat limited as the time between clock pulses could not be too short because if they became any faster, before the pulse had got to where it was meant to, another one would be on its way.

When I look at a PC now I'm amazed at how much more powerful they are and also their very compact size. They are faster, have more memory and the hard drives are unbelievably small in comparison.

Yo Brinty, I come from the same age. I remember my Navy days as an Electronics Technician, when NUCLEAR REACTORS were controlled with Mag-Amps (Magnetic-Amplifiers).

Soon to come: Quantum Computers. We all haven't seen FAST yet.

Depends on the use - FWIW - for a lot of them, someone has to be within close proximity to "read" them (think theme parks) -

I don't think the technology is there yet to track a single sale much beyond the front door of the store.

Not to say it couldn't be at some time..
