Norton Anti-Virus Fails The Test
Now for something practical. I run AVG free version myself and uninstalled Norton and Mcaffee at least a year ago. I also run only Firefox rather than IE, I won't touch IE with a bargepole and a health inspector on the end.
Read this article for a really good expose on this whole issue. After reading this I think I will upgrade to the paid AVG version, well worth the money methinks. http://justanothercoverup.com/?p=608 |

Re: Norton Anti-Virus Fails The Test
So....it's free for one year and then your forced to buy it?
"avast! antivirus Home Edition is FREE to use but it is necessary to register before the end of the initial 60 day trial period. Following the registration you will receive by e-mail a license key valid for a period of 1 year. After you have downloaded and installed the program, the license key must be inserted into it within 60 days. The registration process is very easy, and it will take you only a couple of minutes." |

Re: Norton Anti-Virus Fails The Test
i believe,
i can get people a 9 year avg - full program subscription for $19.99 USD, and, could donate part of those proceeds to project avalon would anyone be interested, in 9 years of virus protection for $19.99 usd ??? it would be a proper registration / with a key i've been using it, and, it is great email : workingwonders@aol.com if you wish to purchase it ************************ on a side note, i think NORTON created most of the virus problems and, when, i tried to get it out, of an old computer -- it was very hard to do |

Re: Norton Anti-Virus Fails The Test
I am using AVG right now. I have also found that McAffe was very good. I s--t canned norton 3 years ago when they came out with a new version of their software that turned all computers into snails.
