Default Bye, bye...

Hi Memembers,

Just wanted to say good bye and good luck for the future. I will not be subscribing to this site and will not accept anyone else paying for me, so I'm out of here.

I think that Bill and Kerry have done and do a great job with the other site and will still visit it daily, but having to pay for something that was once free seems wrong to me - I've said this and other reasons before so there ain't any use of saying it again. One thing I will say and that is Google is free - for the meantime - us it - all the info here is there as well.

Take it easy, everyone, be good to each other and spread the love.

Love

MarkXX...

i've enjoyed communication on here. but., like they say, "all good things must come to an end."
peace, patrick

Sorry to see some of you go - but I do think you should follow your heart - if you feel paying for posting at this place is wrong.

It was stated from day one, by Bill and Kerry that the plan was to go paid subscription. I saw it. This was not hidden - though forums are difficult to navigate and I know many did not see that in the humongous amounts of posts here.

There are also other options besides paying or asking for/accepting a gift subscription. There is barter for help with research and the like. PM me if you want to stay and discuss options other than money. Kerry and Bill will not turn away anyone who really wants to stay in posting mode. I know some are leaving based on the principal of the matter - and that's the only part I cannot help with, though I did advocate for a proper NPR style fund-raiser not just depending on a passive donate button.

Have a good journey ... prepare for the worst ... hope for the best. Or whatever moves you ...

think I'm staying on. its a small price to pay to help support a good cause. I glad I can help in a small way to get the truth out. I'm actually kind of happy to see it go paid for. no free lunches in this world. and this might just keep down the bs factor.

keep up the good work B & K. I support you!!

I think anyone who donates any amount (above $1/month) should be able to post on the board. For some, that's all they can afford.

For many members here, this is not the only subscription of this type that they need to pay for every month - it all adds up.

The whole point of all of this is to bring people together, not to seperate us.

a fund raiser would have been a better idea. This idea of subscription FAILS in my eyes.

I thought that this forum might have been the start of the change - thought this site was about change - change for the better, but having a subscription just seems the old - out moded way - of doing things. Rich get to have their say the the poor read it - now where have I heard that before - oh, realy life! I want a change - we all want a change - a change for the better, please! - pretty please!...go on, you know you want to, don't you? Same old or better future?...

Here we go- new funds to get things done, like more interviews, and helping the Avalon and Camalot staff with some money. I was thinking- even at a dollar to five dollars a month, with ten to twenty thousand people helping, Bill and kerry will have the travel moneyand cash to pay for peoples interviews. i HAVE A FEELING THE QUALITY OF INFORMATION WILL IMPROVE.

Bye bye! If subscription starts I'm gone, too. I know such changes, if they happen, it's the end. Then, something new and better will arise. Somewhere, some time.

The subscription starts this eve - or so an email sent me last night stated.

Good luck to everyone - those using the site and those running the site - be good to each other. Keep watching the skys - not only are there UFO's up there but birds drop stuff also.

Love, light and the last bunch of bananas.

Send admin, Gareth or Colin, a private message - you don't really think we can possibly read all the messages on this forum do you?

Cool meet me at NATION OF EARTH

_____

As with other forums I have belonged to, I 've found that I have better things to do with my time, and simply stopped remembering to visit -- until, in this case, the subscription notice came up.

Won't have a subscription unless someone sponsors me...

However a friend of mine set up a free member site for me and the NATION OF EARTH: http://earthnation.fatedtoend.com/

The site has forums enabled AND a chatblock, and members can post blog entries. The member list is currently very small, but membership is not restricted -- and there is no fee.

YES, I will continue to visit Camelot. Sorry, but as a cash-only kind of person I actually have no way to pay for a subscription here, even if I wanted to...

You will have the option to pay by money order. If you want to do this or if you wish be added to the list for a gift subscription, please PM me. I need to verify the mailing address or I would post it here right now. Anyway if you are going to mail in payment, notify one of the admin guys, Gareth or Colin (or me) to make sure you don't get locked out.

Love is who we are,
Karen

How can you preach togetherness , and yet cause such division?
How can you raise such hope, then slice down the poor?
Shame on You .
