Default How did Project Avalon/Camelot help you.

Hello,

I was wondering with all these threads coming on about how this 'idea' is going the wrong OR the right way, I decided to open a thread which talks about how this whole has benefited you/the person. Or even whether it has benefited you. This is not a place to talk about how bad the project is, just whether it benefited you or not. And of course feel free to explain and expand.

i was going to say something equally as witty but damn you for getting there first.

It helped me not go completely insanse. Knowing theres other people out there who think some of the stuff i do is refreshing.

Nothing worse then being insane on your own.

Very funny!

For me the positive parts of this has BEEN community, a community I've never had. It's been wonderful. Want to talk about nature spirits? Cool, let's talk, I saw fairies the other day. And by the way, have you tried using cow manure for methane for cooking? Great stuff all round.

The negative parts here have been just like the rest of the world "out there," no different. You have to pick and choose. I just don't give any energy (time) to reading negative and argumentative threads. Let them argue. Maybe they'll wake up and start thinking about faeries and cow manure at some point.

I don't know that it has helped me, as much as it has confirmed much for me.
That there are people who are awake & aware on different levels, and that the ego is still very much alive in individuals, keeping them separate from one another, if only in thought.
The divide plagues, even here.
This site has solidified my knowing that all of this is necessary, and that judging one area of focus as more important than another is not in alignment with the balance I prefer.
The information is vital, the attitudes judging the information, tend to be egoistic. This is my observation.

It has strengthened my desire to appreciate the contrast that life offers, by remaining objective & unconditional.
There have been some useful tips in regards to living off the land.
I'm grateful for all that is offered here.
I am given an opportunity here, to love, even when my ego suggests otherwise.
I get to exercise my heart, my left & right brain, and in doing so, I experience the resonance that comes with the synergy of all three. As a result of this, I know my truth with greater clarity and can give it my undivided attention.

Peace,
CW

This is a great thead. I wonder how many of us were considered Woo Woos by families, friends and others who don't percieve the world the way we do. It is so refreshing to be with others who've shared similar experiences and are united at the heart level as compared to the head.

Woo Woos We you!

Cool Re: How did Project Avalon/Camelot help you.

There so much new age junk you can drown yourself in.
There's something for each type of believer.
So many people really have lost touch with reality.

You know, when scientist make a scan of your brains, they can predict
if you are a religious, superstitious, believer kind of person or not.
The believer kind needs believer-food.

Often I reject all the hocus, pocus new age rubbish.
Then I'm too rational for all this foolishness.
But as a believer kind of person, I always return.

The stories behind the official stories are attractive.
They offer other, new, better ways of looking at things.
They offer hope, excape, dreams; they for fill a need or two.

The Camelot interviews, not all but most, are appealing.
Kerry & Bill have a certain personality, also very appealing.
The Alavon forum, is another story. The jury's still out.

Avalon is like a miniature of what happens in the world.
We like to point our finger to bad aliens, bad alphabet groups, bad ...
But forget, or won't admit our role is not always so pretty aswell.

The Camelot part is fine. I like it very much.
Avalon leaves me with the feeling there so much work to be done in so little time
Also that I am missing so much, those so called diamonds in the sand.

I am not in the love love love group.
But still
Love to you all.

It's been a great tool to exercise one's ability to discern between Belief & Knowledge and a great demonstration of the effectiveness of mind control. I would have liked to see more disclosure about technology: whether or not it's true that crop circles are formed via satellite, how our moods are tampered with via ELF, how false memories may have been downloaded, psychological warfare, that sort of thing. How alien disclosure might be part of the overall agenda to further enslave mankind. When it comes to the economy I'm sure they don't make mistakes at the top. I'd like to see more disclosure about these scientific techniques of the propaganda machine for control of the mind and how one might protect themselves.

Aside from conferming alot of my own personal beliefs and giving me some faith in ideas that I wasnt directly exposed to every day, it has made me a little paranoid.

Also, this site has showed me that LARPers can actually be constructive contributors to converson, along with being some of the strangest and humerous people on the planet.

I will tell you who it did not benefit. My best friend has become so obsessed with this website/project that he spent every minute of his life on it, until he was taken to the psych ward last night. Before he found this website, he was a completely different person. This world sucks, get used to it, its not gonna change. See the pattern what happens to people who try to change it?

Cheeze burgarz.... why are you on here then? Another thing.. the world may not end but I GUERNTEE ONE THING! This world will change drastically and life as we know it WILL change. This site is here so we can prepare for it and adjust the best we can. Even if it doesnt happen in the next ten years, which it probably will, it will happen eventually. Lets say everybody here is 20 years off... in the scale of time and infinity that is pretty much right on the dot.

This site is full of many different people from all over the world.
At least your friend was spending his time on a site like this rather than dressing up like a jedi or an elf or what ever and playing World of Warcraft all day long... or pretending he is a jedi.... or playing Magic... or any of the other crazy LARPER games that people spend their every waking moment focusing their energy on.
Sorry all you Live Action Role Players in capes with your light sabers... your are pretty funny.

"Your are funny" learn to grammar?
And you are right, im sure eventually something will happen, until then, im choosing not to obsess about it and frighten my family and friends. I guess I just miss playing jedi with my best friend. Not quite as fun alone. Seriously though, you say at least he wasnt doing those things, but fact is him and I always played MMORPGs together.
*sigh*

I love the opportunity to exchange opinions with folks who don't require three and a half hours of up-front explanation in order to understand where I am coming from.

I love the information that folks are contributing to the healing threads. It's darned useful!

I love being able to network with people who are already up-and-running as far as energy-work is concerned.

I love the folks I've met here, as well as the opportunity the forum presents for folks in the same general area to arrange face-to-face meet-ups.

I love the fact that by and large, many different personal viewpoints are well-tolerated and accommodated here. This is a very wonderful and hopeful sign. I've had some experience of other forums that have had lots of growing-pains-- this one seems to have just blossomed overnight.

Peace,

Martian Tigress
