No More 'War on Terror': Clinton

The phrase "the war on terror" is finished, at least as far as U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is concerned.

The top U.S. diplomat told reporters on Monday that the Obama administration has quit using that line to describe the effort to fight terrorism around the world.

The phrase is widely disliked in Europe and elsewhere overseas, where even close U.S. allies suggest the term is overly militaristic and perhaps counterproductive.

The phrase is also now associated with a range of Bush administration policies, such as the harsh interrogation practices that U.S. President Barack Obama has pledged to abandon.

Former president George W. Bush used the phrase as a rallying cry after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.

Are they going to replace 'War on Terror' with 'War on America'? Is the 'Patriot Act' the act of screwing patriots? Is 'Homeland Security' for securing the homeland? For whom? The borders and ports have not been secured. Why not? I'm sure they are working very hard...but who are they working for?
I'm not speaking of rank and file, hard-working, patriotic government employees(at least 95%). You know who I'm talking about.

They should replace "war on terror" with "slaughter of innocent Islamic families"

It's no longer the War on Terror.

It's always been the War on Freedom.

Ask 777 The Great Work.

They can probably pull up some relevant symbols/imagery to describe the Clintons.

I have a few words to describe them but they're mostly profanity and certainly not suitable for posting here.
