A Few Understandings to Share, Part One - Introduction

I'd like to share a few thoughts with the people on this message board. They can only be taken as my own personal and limited understandings. I'll open with a few brief poems and continue with a second post for now.

Perspective (A Preface)

No matter how high one's position,
No matter how broad and penetrating his wisdom,
No matter how great his abilities,
He can be certain that there exists another whose position is higher, whose wisdom is broader and whose abilities are greater.

And while one may believe that he controls his own fate, as well as the fate of others, it is certain that each being’s future is arranged according to his own true volition, granted by one who is higher and greater.

The more one clings to believing in his own greatness and believing in his own power separate from the Divine, the more one falls into self delusion, turns wicked and heads towards self destruction. And greater is the shock he experiences when the truth comes to light.

A Change of Season (Modern Prophecy)

Throughout the course of Human Time,
Not once has man been in control.
A lifetime after lifetime spent
Performing our predestined roles.

If Heaven shifts and changes come,
What shall be swept, what shall remain?
Both man and other lives bear hope
While Heaven's Law treats each the same.

The evil ones withdraw in haste,
Unable to preserve their lives,
While those deceived bewildered stare--
What goal achieved by endless strife?

A pyramid of secrets kept,
A certain few to share between,
Not knowing even higher ones
Arranged and scripted every scene.

Each life a truly precious being
Given chances many times,
Yet some made drunk by carnal power
Know not what fate before them lies.

A change of season ushered in,
All eyes now see the world anew,
And those awakened play new roles
With better deeds to carry through.

In Late Hours

Centuries of preparation are inconsequential,
And scientific methods futile.
During the process of cosmic change--microcosmic and macrocosmic in scale--
How does one evade the particles that compose one’s very being?

An age approaches its close, the past arrangements already amended.
The head of demons counts the numbers he swindled as he draws his final breath.
Indeed, both good and evil have been revealed,
But the path one is to take still remains one’s own choice.

In late hours, there remains an opportunity to seek the truth.
In late hours, mercy remains within reach.

On the Way to Tiananmen

Peace in our hearts,
Compassion, silent joy.
Solemn is the Fa (Way),
Boundless and righteous salvation.

Who in the Heavens can persecute Dafa?
Only destroy oneself in rage.
Come are autumn’s winds,
As myriad beings awaken.
