Re: Compassion
imo, a really good way for you humans to learn compassion is to stop killing & eating your brothers & sisters, the animals, who, unfortunately for them, share the planet w/you-- in my estimation, about 95% of you eat either their dead bodies, or secretions from them while they are kept in captivity, having been bred /dumbed down centuries ago -- i'm not addressing all the other ways you are cruel to them --
Stuart Wilde has been teaching people to go to other dimensions -- in a recent newsletter, he noted that only those who did not eat dead animals were able to make this shift everything the reptilians are doing to humans, you have been doing to the animals for century upon century -- perhaps it is simple karma that has allowed the reptilians & buddies to rule this planet for so long you all start eating meat as soon as you get teeth , or sooner, w/baby food & blenders available--imo, this is THE most de-sensitizing collective activity of humans, guaranteeing a disconnect from your own innate compassion i don't think Mother Earth is too pleased with this, & i know the Creator isn't Peace & Freedom for All Beings, wynderer |

Re: Compassion
compassion
mid-14c., from O.Fr. compassion, from L.L. compassionem (nom. compassio) "sympathy," from compassus, pp. of compati "to feel pity," from com- "together" + pati "to suffer" (see passion). Loan-translation of Gk. sympatheia. i.e., compassion means 'to suffer together,' 'to suffer with' -- anyone living on Earth now who is burdened w/compassion knows it is no fun -- it is definitely not a path to escape to the 'love & light' realms where it's 'all good' Peace & Freedom, wynderer |

Re: Compassion
Good gad! Brook is in the Mists!
This forum is like being around a dysfunctional family who refuses to discuss the elephant sitting in the middle of the living room. What is wrong with you guys?

Re: Compassion
I could ask the same question Carmen, but I doubt I will get an answer.
There is someone over at the other camp I would love to put in the mists for about four months but I dont think that will be happening any time soon. |

Re: Compassion
In fact there is a smarmy, sarcastic remark been posted on Brooke's profile page from when she was sent to the mists, so Brooke could not doing anything about it.
Let's see anyone of you on the forum go to Brooke's page to see if you can work out what that remark is and get back here and let us know. I do believe that member should be sent to the mists for doing that. Mmmmh. |

In the mist is when you are disallowed from posting through some real or imagined infringement of the rules. Yes the whole world is crazy at the moment, I put it down to a change in energy. Assuming, lets say it is true that we are one with Mother earth. Recently we have had at least two major earth quakes with much loss of life, it is no wonder that we are unsettled vibrationally. Compassion is the greatesf form of love. Lets show so some for those who are sensitve and therfore reactive at the moment. There is no right or wrong as such. Appropriate or not so appropriate may be a better way of looking at recent posts. Relax my friends the ripples are dying down if we let them. Chris |

Re: Compassion
"When we have complete ease and perceptual openness in all our experiences—especially the negative ones—then we find a superb helpfulness already present within us, which like the sun, is always shining. There’s a natural ease of being in which no one is a stranger. Compassion never needs to be cultivated or developed—it is always naturally present in awareness. In fact, compassion is equal to awareness and can only be found in awareness. The compassion that can be cultivated and developed is lifeless compared to the unstoppable compassion that shows no bias. True compassion is totally innocent and totally free. We can become acquainted with this compassion only by seeing that awareness has complete mastery over everything that appears in our thoughts, emotions, and experiences." "Just as the lotus arises out of the mud but is completely unaffected by the mud, the beautiful flower of compassion appears out of our deepest, darkest emotions, thoughts, and experiences." |

Re: Compassion
Chris -- thanks for explaining what 'in the mists' is -- this confirms my impression that the bonkers factor is affecting these forums ---
there seem to be two subsets of posts by many of the same posters -- high-sounding spiritual tidbits, & then a lot of quarrelling Sun Bear used to say that 'if your philosophy doesn't grow corn, i don't want to hear about it' -- i guess we're all going to get the chance soon to see just how much corn our philiosophies grow -- the Earth changes alone will give us all a great chance to see just how loving & compassionate we all really are Pracr & Freedom, wynderer |

Re: Compassion
Well, I'm out of the dog house now, and allowed in the house again....and I will admit I got a bit strong...and pasionate about my opinions...however I will be a good girl from now on....I promise
Thanks for all the emails I got from those who cared about me. But here I am...safe and sound Albert Einstein once said "A fellow who does things that count, doesn't usually stop to count them." And that was my misting downfall...next time I wll be more careful to count them, and see if it is worth the time to count. After all, I'm sure out of the 3000 plus posts I've done here..I must have said something worth listening to I did have some passion when writing the vortex 19.47 thread....not confrontational at all...check it out..and see if you can figure out how to map the universe with sacred geometry...now that's a challange Last edited by BROOK; 03-19-2010 at 05:11 PM. |

And now for some compassion....
Pass it on by Henry Burton Have you had a kindness shown? Pass it on; 'Twas not given for thee alone, Pass it on; Let it travel down the years, Let it wipe another's tears, 'Til in Heaven the deed appears - Pass it on. |

Re: Compassion
Hi Brook
Pleased your released. Brings to mind Mae West. Dont take this personally -- smiling Mae said and I quote "When Im good in good, and when im bad Im better!" Well there is so much seriousness going on. When we are light we are so much more compassionate. A true story. A friend of mine is a ski instructor. He came upon an accident on the slopes. People standing around an unconscious young woman who had a bleeding face. All bemoaning the tragedy. He stepped in and got a bundle of snow and very very firmly applied it to the wound, people arround were quite critical of the speed and force of the delivery, truth is the bleeding stopped and he probably saved her from needing stiches. Sometimes love can appear tough, hence the expression tough love. People do the best they can and I believe most are truly compassionate when push comes to shove, they will even risk their own lives in an emergency and that is true compassion. Love Chris |
