Thrust OVER Lift.... Or, Little Big Balls....

Restricted, to use only 70% power...

This bird has vectored thrust nozzles; Turkey feathers.

Driver, still has 30% power in his pocket...1.16 mph = 1 knot.

I had to go to Jack in er box, Tumbly was goin' GGrrrr; GGrrr...
But, this one wasn't behind JPL, like in the Old Days.....

Fly Jets... Yes. Fly something like this... Oh, Helll No.

This is a huge flying computer... All, Fly by wire. What I flew was controls...

You could Feel the wind over the control surfaces... Stall the wing to land.

Two, J 79 GE jets engines... This thing costs 100,000.00 to maintain after

a flight.

I flew A-4, F-4B Turn and burn lady... Not a comparable...

OOOOOOO..... That's good Karen... And, perfect. What was paid for this whole

production in 1943. Would NOT pay to maintain the F-22 Raptor for one flight.

Yep... F 105, They have one mounted on a pole at Norad, Right across from
the Park on station.

But, the one from Canada is a twin... U S is a single burner...

James Parsons Labs. [JPL] Stole/bought just about everything including
the disc craft...

I was a Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force 80-84, stationed in nevada and my shop was right next to the USAF Thunderbirds, what a thrill to see them daily among all the other aircraft, I saw them do many things like the F-22 , got to see other aircraft from around the world, saw some crash, and many other things. It was a very cool tour of duty to say the least and i never got tired of seeing what was next that was landing there.

Hows the F-35 Lightning II compared to the F-22 Raptor?

Military here are waiting for the F-35's, even though it looks to be a really expensive "pleasure".

I'd love to fly one of those birds.

If they can ever make 'em as fast as an ufo, that'd be even cooler.

So... You want to go for a Ride... Not in a F-22

In this view you can go for one in an F-16...

More reasonably priced.

Good ol' Norwegian Airforce there.

Why this country with minimal military influence use a heap of money to replace the F-16's is beyond me. We're not supposed to engage in warfare anyhow, and the military force we actually do possess would be knocked out cold in a day if someone decided to attack.

No, we're NATO defended as long as we play nice with the US. :P
