and when I`m near burnout

i need this .. for the soul..
..being too tired to scream..they do it for ya in the song...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1Fvm...eature=related

(sometimes the mind is like a tense muscle, which needs to be strained to the max, before it can be totally relaxed. speed metal music is good for this purpose..)

i've actually come across a lot of people who say that metal music in general can relax them. i myself can fall asleep listening to metal. feel the beat and let the music drive you through itself.

with 8 years of metal under my belt, i have to say this is the greatest metal band that ever walked the earth:

http://www.myspace.com/meshuggah

they are truely on a different level than most musicians, let alone the metal genre. they demonstrate the ancient math very well. the guitars are almost never in common 4/4 time, meshuggah is known for their highly complex rhythms and time signatures. BUT they make poly-metric rhythms to pull it all together. (ex. guitars playing in 3s, drums playing in 4s ... 3333 (3 x 4) = (4 x 3) 444) it's a little hard to explain but the song 'bleed' would be a good listen to see what i'm talking about.

oh, another note i'd like to add.
everyone in my band, and others that i've proposed the theory to believe that the members of meshuggah are aliens. !
listen to the music or watch them live and see why i believe.

meshuggah is really a special band..suggest the genre would be "overkill". never heard of them before. "bleed" is somewhat energizing..i like metal music that can relax and energize at the same time..(it`s an art `...)
but do you understand a word they say.?..(so far i got "salvation"..the rest
is):

..thanks for the link..sure saved it as fav.

bob marley - redemption song

Old pirates, yes, they rob i;
Sold I to the merchant ships,
Minutes after they took i
From the bottomless pit.
But my hand was made strong
By the and of the almighty.
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly.
Wont you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? ooh!
Some say its just a part of it:
Weve got to fulfil de book.

Wont you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

peace
