I came across this, very moving Video...

It's called: HOME

This movie has recently been released (2009), and tells of man's insatiable desire and need to strip our Beautiful Mother Earth of her resourses.
It's a wonderfully Directed, Produced and Narrated piece which leaves you in no doubt that we simply can go on doing what we're doing, both for the survival of our Planet and all species that dwell upon her...

We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate.

I'd be grateful on any thoughts you may have about this Video, Good or Bad...
I would just like to make it very clear that I do not under any circumstances condone Agenda 21. My feeling for making that statement? I can see how this maybe a percieved as being a Problem - Reaction - Solution sinario by TPTB, hearding us into population zones and making a lot of area's off limits to us. However that said, I can't see how we can continue down the road of self destrution. A change of attitude toward each other as well as whole eco system would be benifical to ALL...

We know the whole solar system is heating up, not just our planet. and I feel that our Earth, as well as us will be going through some remarkable changes in the near future. This is why I will be doing what I can to become as one with all of creation.

I just watched it and wow! what a great film! I agree with it that we can't keep taking and taking from the earth. We have to start looking towards the sky, as in solar power and also wind power. Those two fields alone are really in the beginning phases and will keep getting better and better, and more efficient all the time!

Everyone needs to wake up! Especially places like Dubai, all that sun and no solar power, and having to rely on desalination plants for water, what a joke!! That whole place should never have been built! It's getting hit hard by the economy and I hope it gets hit a lot harder! Same for Las Vegas, should never have been built and I hope they crash hard!

Think much bigger! There are hundreds of energy technologies besides wind and solar.

Hence the anxiety and depression seen in association with other symptoms near wind installations are not a neurotic response to symptoms, but rather a neurologically linked response to the balance disturbances people experience from shadow flicker or low-frequency noise... This is a picture of the d'Entremont home in Pubnico, Nova Scotia, where their ancestors have lived since the 1870s. Daniel and Carolyn d'Entremont, with their 6 children, had to abandon it on Feb. 21, 2006, because of "wind turbine syndrome," the cluster of symptoms being found around the world where people live near giant wind turbines.

That's why Denmark has it right and puts theirs out in the water!

However I do agree Karen that there are many options available including geo-thermal, tidal, zero point, and many more. We just need to get the scientific community to ignore big business and do the right thing and research these alternative resources.

If TPTB are indeed holding onto 'FREE ENERGY', then I totally agree with what's already been said here; 'RENEWABLE ENERGY' is they way to go.
Solar, Wind, GeoThermal, and Tidal are probably the most common one's we hear of. Below is a chart that show's the output of 'Renewable Energy' as of the end of 2008...



As you can see, in the grand scheme of thing's we're not using anywhere near enough 'Renewable Energy'. But let's be positive here, we have a good foundation to build on...

I came across this story that shows exactly why the above slice of pie of clean renewable energy is so tiny. It's an easy and very interesting read. Wade worked with Dennis Lee and saw many of the ways TPTB take people down.

I watched the video, a very well funded and produced documentary. In principal I agreed that expansive policies of the profit driven (where expansion and growth are scared with absolutely no regard is given to the consequences) are leading humanity to the brink of irreversible destruction.

My question is why is it that the very same corporation that have driven the expansion policies are now doing an Al Gore, is that they have developed a conscious or they are running scared and have the audacity to blame it on humanity. Follow the money! follow the money!!

I dont have a lot of faith in the bulk of the power brokers to do this themselves, consequently, I think that she's going to do that to a lot of people anyway.
