Is 2-11 just another 2-11 ?
You betcha
Well, apart from that is, all the normal murderings, muggings, international theft, corruption, earthquaqe and seismic activity, pollution, dodgy deals, grace, mercy, beauty, friendship, family, brotherhood, sisterhood, nobleness, creativity, awesomeness, consciousness and Love that exist for the other 364 days of the year. You are still you, my friend.. I am still me and we are still we. Nothing to look forward to , just look to today... look to now It won't be long before someone thinks up another date to look forward to. So enjoy this moment while there is breath in your lungs. K |

Re: Is 2-11 just another 2-11 ?
carpe diem
A Psalm of Life by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow What the Heart of the Young Man Said to the Psalmist Tell me not, in mournful numbers, "Life is but an empty dream!" For the soul is dead that slumbers, And things are not what they seem. Life is real! Life is earnest! And the grave is not its goal; "Dust thou art, to dust returnest," Was not spoken of the soul. Not enjoyment, and not sorrow, Is our destined end or way; But to act to each to-morrow Finds us farther than to-day. Art is long, and Time is fleeting, And our hearts, though stout and brave, Still, like muffled drums, are beating Funeral marches to the grave. In the world's broad field of battle, In the bivouac of Life, Be not like dumb, driven cattle! Be a hero in the strife! Trust no Future, howe'er pleasant! Let the dead Past bury its dead! Act,--act in the living Present! Heart within, and God o'erhead! Lives of great men all remind us We can make our lives sublime, And, departing, leave behind us Footprints on the sands of time; Footprints, that perhaps another, Sailing o'er life's solemn main, A forlorn and shipwrecked brother, Seeing, shall take heart again. Let us, then, be up and doing, With a heart for any fate; Still achieving, still pursuing Learn to labor and to wait. love m x

Re: Is 2-11 just another 2-11 ?
Thanks Morguana, that's a lovely poem.
Thanks for your indulgence Gita ! Thanks for the posts Gibonos... Like I say, there's always something going down every day of the year. Throw a dart, it's hard to miss! Like, has anyone read a newspaper, and you get the little section that says... "On this day.... " and you get all the famous battles and historical events. Has anyone ever seen a day when the paper prints, 'Sorry, we couldn't find anything for this day' Everything happens someday... why look forward to it? What is so wrong with today, that we have to look forward to tomorrow going wrong ? Erm.. don't answer that, I know you might have a long list for me K |

Re: Is 2-11 just another 2-11 ?
very strange - but, yesterday, we thought it was 2/11 ?
in fact, we believed, today was friday ~ until about 5 minutes ago what is even odder, is someone, we know, just asked us, where we had been, yesterday, since they dropped into our office, yesterday, several times and, we were NOT here ??? This isn't just odd, it is strange !!! |

I stopped using a watch back in 06, or rather the watch stopped using me the day before thanksgiving 2006 @ 7:23 pm. before that i was in perfect sink with SO CALLED time, but since that fait full day, things have changed.. And the closer we hit that so called 2012 date things have gotten even more out of sink as it where. Days at times would feel they would pass within a few hours, and sometimes it would feel like a single day would take several days to pass, at times a week would seem like a day only.. I sometimes feels as though I am walking through vortexes of SO CALLED time. |

Re: Is 2-11 just another 2-11 ?
There are approx 250,000-300,000 people who have had their day in the sun and leave us per day.
There are approx 220,000 newborn per day... Now thats a lot of funerals and a lot of nappies. Peace

It looks like 2-11 is my 9-11 for being a member of Avalon. I was under the impression that this was a free forum and don't recall getting a notice that it was reverting back to a pay group (I may have accidently deleted the notice, I don't know). I hope to still be able to participate in the Light Warriors forum, if possible... and this forum, too, but if it's not, or I can't get an extra five bucks in the bank soon, I bid you all a fond farewell. My regular e mail is ravensdawn@earthlink.net and my domian is: http://ravensanddoves.com If you have a rock 'n roll band and want to play a paid gig in LA, my site for getting a once happening street festival going again is: http://northhollywoodarts.com And if the sky ever open up for the world to see... or the grid goes down so nobody can see: http://home.earthlink.net/~aic.net/ I hope to stay in touch through one channel or the other. Tons of love to you ALL, Paul |

Re: Is 2-11 just another 2-11 ?
I'd not heard of a subscription, Paul...
If so.. I'll probably be out too... I rely on the Project Avalon subscription to make sure I have another life apart from this one :0) good luck with your endeavours... I play in a band, but we'll probably not get to LA.. well, maybe sometime...it's the best scene isn't it ?! I just love the LA 70's sound... CSN, joni m, flying burritos? james taylor ? K |

Re: Is 2-11 just another 2-11 ?
Raven, I don't know where you heard the forum is going back to pay, but it's not. The notice you may have seen today had to do with people overquoting texts in posts and posting long passages that don't need to be some long. Nothing about paying for the site was ever posted.
