Default Troops Headed for California

Hello All,

I have personally witnessed a large number of troops building up and driving with humvees near Camp Pendleton on public streets. Then I saw this article:

http://www.thedailyobserver.ca/Artic...aspx?e=2185303

I'm curious if anyone can confirm if this is a "normal" training exercise or if this seems suspicious.

Thanks,

sjkted

Hmm.

Wonder if Chris Story has any new updates on settlements and how lack of paying them could result in China exerting their hand.

I will go ahead a squash all the fears you guys have. California is gonna be a

major training ground for troops this summer. The California desert is a great

match for troops deploying overseas because of its hot desert like conditions.

The build up your seeing is the gear up for the summer rush in training. I know

this because several of my freinds are going out there to train.

I'm aware of this, but is it normal procedure for them to train off the base on the public roads and land?

Yea it's not out of the ordinary for this to happen especially near military

installations. Considering the major training that will be going on in California i

wouldn't be surprised if you see allot more activity. Training in civilian areas

near military installations does happen, unless you see them out stopping people

and setting up checkpoints i wouldn't be worried.

I'll answer this one, I've been out of the military over 20 years, I was in the air force stationed in nevada, My job had me going off base alot to other installations, at the time I was current duty my high school buddy joined the marines at the same time and I went to Camp Pendelton for a few weekend visits . That base is 25 miles long so to see anybody off base, no worries, I did it all the time at my base.
