Time magazine names Bernanke 'Person of the Year'
"The recession was the story of the year," Time managing editor Richard Stengel said in a statement. "Without Ben Bernanke, Time's 2009 Person of the Year, it would have been a lot worse"
His creative leadership helped ensure that 2009 was a period of weak recovery rather than catastrophic depression, and he still wields unrivaled power over our money, our jobs, our savings and our national future," Grunwald said. http://www.france24.com/en/node/4949756 |

I was having a good day up until the time I saw this. The world just keeps getting more surreal.

Hey, it's not every administration that has a dream team -- first Obama gets the peace prize now Bernacke gets man of the year. Perhaps we could think of some other great prizes to give to the rest of the gang. How about something for Nancy Pelosi, Timothy Geithner, and Henry Paulson? Certainly, they've contributed also and deserve some type of acknowledgment.
