Aurora Spirals in Norway & Finland 18th February
Just found a few images in a thread going at ATS.
Thought it would be interesting to mention them for you guys. Some new spirals appear in the Aurora Borealis above Tromso Norway and somewhere in Finland. Both pictures are taken the same day February 18th. Norway: http://spaceweather.com/aurora/image...nys-Moser1.jpg Finland: http://spaceweather.com/aurora/image...drew-Keen1.jpg What I saw discussed is that many dismiss it as normal aurora... But thing is. The ones who know more about this say they have never seen or heard about spiral Auroras as seen above. The are mostly in lines or curtain like formations etc. And I must say I myself never heard about Aurora coming about into a spiral pattern visual. Then there was some mention how the EISCAT with it's ionosphere heating can cause spiral like visuals in the aurora. So question is was it on usage this day and the cause? If it was ionosphere heating or not it would be interesting to go back to other meanings about the spirals... Like the rock carvings found all over the world in the mountains? Could this be it? Just Aurora Borealis coming into spiral patterns? And looking at the carvings it's cause for alarm? The stuff is about to hit the fan already? |

Nice pictures.
Upps, wrong date: The ICECAT was on. But not one of the two UHF/VHF antenna. Only the HEATER: Whether this can produce these effects: I do not know. . Last edited by bashi; 02-20-2010 at 03:57 PM. |

Guys....you might be interested in listening to Brooks Agnew Ph.D. on the Veritas Show. He is a scientist who is very, very interesting to listen to. The show was aired last night.....the first hour is free, & 2nd hour requires membership. But its worth it to be a member.
He talked about HARRP & the aurora lights, weather modification, but the most interesting was his planned trip to the North Pole. I don't want to spoil it for you, so check it out. It might shed some light on those pics posted here. Awsome pics btw. My intuition tells me these are not natural, but a side effect of some tampering. http://www.veritasshow.com/memberlog...erloggedin.php |

Beautiful pictures, Kamikaze! Thanks a lot, I always check the Northern Lights pictures at www.spaceweather.com the site where the activity of the Sun is displayed. And to add a bit on the philosophical side: The funny thing about spirals, in the sky, on the ground, the way water is moving when disappearing in a hole, the whirlwind moving in a spiral, galaxies forming, DNA chains, they all show a symbol of eternal movement, there's no finite point in space or time, isn't that great? That's one of nature's laws.

Morguana;
what a great link/page and a good find. It puts forth a plausible explanation. That the effects on the magnetosphere will do this. That this can even be triggered by planetary alignments, and even shows the event happening on other planets as well. What an interesting site! Was reading around a bit... nice find. From their home page: "All physical existences are weaved in vortical motion; nothing physical in nature is not vortical." Kinda like that, tintagel ? Note to Morguana; they are moving their website. The new URL is: http://www.uvs-model.com/

Re: Aurora Spirals in Norway & Finland 18th February
Greetings from Finland..
In north Finland auroras are usual but these forms are new. We had our coldest day yesterday -41,3C in middle Finland. What is strange is strong winds (about 15m/sec) that are not usual here with so low temperature. Its like autumn storm but in the middle of winter. Also heavy spraying of whatever in the sky is active, i saw only about half an hour clear view to sun today before somebody had to cover it for some reason... HPIM1915.jpg Peace and were is summer? Thank you Morquana , great post! I was thinking also that it had something to do with magnetics

You may be right but for what I have listened in the veritas show, he dismissed the existance of extra terrestrials, now which agenda is that? It is a mine field out there Love |
