I'm sure if it was posted before, but it's really cool to watch from string to the whole universe as we know it, gives you perspective how important humans are Don't get fooled it's not a game! gibonos |

Re: Special scale map of the universe
I enjoyed that, thanks for posting it gibonos . That's just a tiny bit of what we think we know and still it's vast and on a scale that seems so extensive to us, from incredibly tiny to incredibly huge and all is nothing to those who know more but yet not overlooked as we can see by the incredible detail .

Re: Special scale map of the universe
I love this type of thing. It really hammers home the incredible tiny sliver of space-time that human beings have and ever will occupy. It indicates to me at least, that our knowledge of the universe is so resource constrained that anyone's claims of knowing, understanding, or even remotely comprehending its creator, creation, or anything about its true nature absolutely comical and well ...downright insane, irrational, and totally fantasy driven. Having been convinced I possessed such knowledge myself in the past, I feel I have some right to say such a thing.
When I contemplate these things I am moved to laughter and a certain joy that is unexplainable. |
