OH DAMN!!! Too late again. I arrive here, the place is deserted, and there's t-shirts laying around all over the place. I guess I missed the mind boggling show. Oh well, I'd have probably needed extra blood pressure pills anyway.

Oh Dear, I've got egg on my face. The lead singer from Pussycat has informed me in no uncertain terms, that they had a string of hits in their native Holland. So, my apologies to you Pussycat.

Here is one of them - cast your mind back to when you were young and having a good time. On holiday in some far off country, you meet and have a fleeting romance with somebody. Then comes the time for parting. How do you feel? Is your heart breaking? What do you say? Do you make promises you have no way you can fulfill?

Come on girls, be honest now, how many of these comments do you find correct?

Women over 50 don't have babies because they would put them down and forget where they left them.

A friend of mine confused her Valium with her birth control pills... she
has 14 kids but doesn't really care.

One of life's mysteries is how a 2-pound box of chocolates can make a
woman gain 5 lbs.

My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.

The best way to forget your troubles is to wear tight shoes.

The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know
what you are doing, someone else does.

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight because by then, your
body and your fat are really good friends.

Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along came today.

Sometimes I think I understand everything, and then I regain
consciousness.

I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and
setting fire to my knickers.

Amazing! You hang something in your closet for a while and it shrin ks 2
sizes!

Skinny people irritate me! Especially when they say things like...'You
know sometimes I forget to eat!' ......Now I've forgotten my address, my
mother's maiden name and my keys, but I have never forgotten to eat. You
have to be a special kind of stupid to forget to eat!

The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing and
then they marry him.

I read this article that said the typical symptoms of stress are eating
too much, impulse buying, and driving too fast. Are they kidding? That's
my idea of a perfect day!

I don't want to be left out in the cold - so here is the only picture I can find of a guitar I had back in the mid 50s. It was an acoustic Hofner President if I remember correctly. The only difference between the one in the photo and mine was the color. Mine was black with white trim.

Beautiful guitar Brinty,

I play Bass too Gio have played 15 gigs as a bass player.. years ago now. I play it like a giant guitar with a pick
...Im much better on guitar though.

I have a Les Paul aswel Brook.. and an ESP EXPLORER... and an IBANEZ ICEMAN!

Yes I agree Les Pauls look meaner without the pickguard, my Les Paul has a Celtic Cross on the Headstock and roman numeral fret markings on the 12th fret.. but is only an Epiphone not a real Gibson

Oh thank you Carmen, I haven't seen Billy for years. Always used to have us in fits. On and off I've tried to get hold of the movie "A Hot Friday Night." I think that's what it was called - he played the part of a Mexican type bandit. That was one hilarious show.
