Default New member introduction. Warning about Paypal

Dear Project Avalon
Dear Kerry Cassidy and Bill Ryan.

I am a new member. Support the cause. I Try to be spiritual and positive.
My specialties are computer science and nutritional (food) science.
The latter I will contribute on later.

I donated and subscribed using Paypal.

I'd like to warn you - that I do not trust paypal.

What happened to me: I paid a donation yesterday and first subscription today and was called by Palpal asking me to verify these transactions - to confirm that I was in control of the account.
I did use a new credit card to Paypal.

Analysis.
1. Ok this is a routine check and I am happy that they are so precise about it.

2. Maybe somebody flagged creditor Kerry Cassidy in paypal and is automatically triggering this verification process. Hoping that at some point somebody will say no I did not do this and so they can freeze the account.

Maybe I am a bit paranoia - it is certainly not the first impression I would like to make but I did not want to Not warn you.

Maybe appropriate contingency measures are necessary.

---

Ok I am going to be positive further on and forget this as quickly as possible

Hi there you all!

greetings
Crest

Welcome to the "Big Family", Crest.

Re: Your PayPal warning.

I to have had a bad experiance with the workings of PayPal - Same sort of issue as yourself. I contacted them by e-mail several times over several days after my account was suspended, for no apparent reason. They did not respond. I telephoned them and was made to feel it was all my fault with their "BIG BROTHER" attitude.

I cancelled my account - I had this inner feeling and just went to Google - I just typed in " Is PayPal Corrupt"

Just go and see for yourself guys ? Many many horror stories -

Don't want to end the year on a negative here-

Wishing YOU ALL a wonderful NEW YEAR and beyond Paul R

Welcome, Crest. I think you'll enjoy Avalon, and I'm sure your nutrition background will be very helpful.

So sorry to hear about your paypal issues - I've been very fortunate - even when some yahoo in Indonesia stole my ebay account and invaded my paypal account to the tune of around $6k, both ebay and paypal did get it straightened out - eventually I was lucky I got up at 4:00 that morning and caught the first profile change notification from ebay. I'd guess I was on it within 30 minutes of it starting.

That would probably be it. They look for odd spending patterns and deviations from those patterns. What they are actually doing is monitoring each move we make, but occasionally they will ring you up to check in and maintain the illusion that this is all for your benefit.

A..

I also used a new PayPal account with CC. There was no drama in the process at all. Only hassle I had was trying make sense of Avalon's sign up, which I eventually was able to do. Thanks to those who helped me through this.

Regarding the paranoia thing - the probability is or one would think that "they" know what each individual on Avalon is up to anyway. Interestingly enough, a so called bloodline I met several years ago online, thought that "they" weren't really concerned about those of us who pry into their agenda, as they have the majority of the Control System /sheep under their control anyway, and that we were only small fish that's not worth the bother. Could make sense.
