Did Nasa say Orion Spur not originally part of the milky way?
Hi all,
looking for clarification on a point I am sure I read somewhere, but cann't find or remember where. DOH!! Did Nasa suggest that our earth and the orion spur that our solar system finds itself, was from somewhere outside thise present star system? Please put my failing memory to rest. L&L, t |

Re: Did Nasa say Orion Spur not originally part of the milky way?
Hello lawlessline. I am not sure if it is linked to your interrogation, but when I read your post, it made me think about this: http://www.viewzone.com/milkyway.html
It says our solar system, and maybe our stars clutter, is not from Milky Way, but rather from Sagittarius Galaxy. Which is at this very moment merging with Milky Way. I always had this information at the back of my mind when thinking about, what exactly is so special about our time? Maybe it is because we are moving from one galaxy, to another... Namaste, Steven |
