When i was growing up, tap water in Poland was treated with chlorine. They used so much of it that you could almost taste it. Then they stopped and used fluoride(or fluorine, i don't know) and are still using it....nothing new...

Chlorine gas can effect your health, depending on how much of it you have been exposed to and for how long. It is corrosive and irritating to the eyes, skin and respiratory tract. Exposure to low amounts may cause a sore throat, eye and skin irritation and coughing. Exposure to higher amounts of the gas can cause narrowing of the bronchi, burning of the eyes and skin and a blue coloring of the skin. It can also cause a build up of fluid in the lungs and pain in the chest.
`and` The federal government has set legal safety limits regarding water and chlorine. There should only be four milligrams of chlorine per one liter of drinking water, and ten milligrams of chlorine to one liter of lake and stream water. http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-chlorine.htm `and` http://www.hollandwatertechnology.co...FQ7xDAodjGQnnw |
