Waking up yesterday morning was a blast.
Even before the fully sun rose, everything was deep-red to orange - as the first rays of the sun hit the top of the dust cloud. My first thought was that there was a fire, but then I saw the sky was uniformly red/orange! No clouds. Then I smelled the dust and realised what it was. Re: Unprecedented Red Dust Storm hits Sydney
I was wondering when we would get a post from you, Anchor, on this!
I checked it out on some Aust. websites. I lived in Australia all my life until '86, and I.ve never seen anything like it. I,ve experienced duststorms in the outback, but never extending all these miles to the coast. And extending north to Brisbane, Queensland. |
