Am I missing something here? What's wrong with being poor?
The reason the world is in such a mess is because of people spending money like fools.
The happiest man I've ever met lived on a tiny island in Indonesia and earnt £1 a day, he lived in a corrugated iron shed with his wife and two small children and was as happy as could be. I'd swap my life for his in a second
