That's not very strong - depends on its depth also.
This seismological site only really reports those over mag 4.

Wasn't there a volcanic eruption somewhere down there recently - that would shake things up a bit!

I know, but it only contributes to the fact that there will be more earthquakes of different magnitudes as we are approaching 2012.

You are absolutely right - mother earth is totally fed up and wants to get rid of extraneous stuff - 'she' is nauseous at the moment, can we make 'her' better in time...?
Do anything you can to recycle, bless your plants and trees (trees love hugs - proven). Love the earth and the animals therein - provide for them where possible, if not - try to keep them in a 'safe zone' where predators cannot prevail. Even the predators need care... we can go on and on but respecting the environment, as our Indigenous brothers and sisters have over the millennia, will enable the leftover society's to remain respectful, in continuity, balanced for our survival.
