Default What do you do for fun?

Hi everyone,

I hope all is well and I want to thank Bill, Kerry and everyone here for creating such a wonderful informative site. These times can be unforgiving to the unaware / sleeping mass. The awaken, should not only be creative in resurrecting the consciousness of many… but also be of understanding, and extreme patience. To move forward seeds must be indecrimately planted while every person’s perspectives is recognized and respected…even in disagreement. The ego only hinders the collective learning process…

I’m sure many people are on the fence about this ascension and dimensional shift stuff, and I can’t say that I blame them. We have all been lied to, dumb down and divided to keep us focused on being judgmental, selfish, and overly competitive....along with indulging in other unhealthy behaviors. But, we will get thru this…..

I made this thread in hopes of getting a better understanding to what the benevolent soul likes to do for down time. Other than questing for knowledge (reading and youtubing), what do you do for recreation? I think many shy away from righteousness because they are too condition to enjoying pain, suffering and the misfortunes of others. The media (TV, radio, movies, etc…) constantly displays strife as a form of entertainment; this can’t be helping our vibrations. Even our children are trained to laugh when a cartoon mouse slaps a cartoon cat with a bat. We need non-hypocritical entertainment, maybe with a little insight into alternative fun things to do…people might start having a change of heart. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Peace

Sport, usually badminton/squash. Its good to play against others for fun and fitness. (Thats why I cant use a gym - too boring)

And drawing whatever I feel, comes into my head, in my own time.

I remember playing a game of badminton in my early teen years, wasn’t that good at it but did find it fun…I’m better at handball and basketball. Simi-pro football was a part of my younger years but I left it alone because of the negative energy involved with it. kinda sad because I love the sport too, idk, it's just something pulling me away from it. In order for me to keep that adrenalin rush and pump feeling I have to do calisthenics and isometrics. But it’s been a while thou, lol.

You see…this is my dilemma. So many things I grew up liking but now I see them as harmful practices.

It’s even become differcult for me to enjoy anything on the television due to it’s saturation of negative content. Occasionally I’ll play a few video games but that’s really no better, for the most part... I use video games as a form of stress therapy, a way to interact and filter out excess energies. So, the games I’ve becoming accustom to lately are games like Sim city or anything simulated.
and yes, Drawing is also one of my past times, along with music production.

Trying to be more of a righteous person can be challenging, there’s so many distractions, and many questions of what’s right and what’s wrong? But, this answer always comes to me “do what ever you want…just don’t hurt anyone in the process”. Culture shock :-(

Some might find this path /my path boring, and I’m cool with that. I’m just feeling confusing amongst the fence sitters and the unaware, their ideas to what ascension is. I’m merely aiding others in finding healthy practices for soul growth, how to appreciate the experience of life and mother Earth. I mean, I find great comfort in being around nature too… but not so much to the point where I want to go skipping around in a loincloth…

Peace

I think life itself is Fun..it all depends on the way you look at it .
I sometimes miss the opportunity to fill the moment with love and beauty .
But most of the time I am happy . If you could see me at the other side
of that screen I often smile and laugh and I keep doing so when I am on
my own taking a walk in the forest or running around making errands.
When you smile at the universe it does smile back at you and this in itself is
a lot of fun. I am happy and enjoy myself when I make others happy.

Love Always

I like to be out in nature and find that essential to my well being- so hiking, biking, walking etc; I enjoy renting a movie here and there, meet with friends for tea,
read to my children, prepare fresh organic foods, exercise and daily yoga, read and relax, explore new places........all of that is fun to me!

I haven't had much time to do any of the things I enjoy lately.
I'm a outdoor/nature nut.
Camping, fishing, hiking, boating, biking, horseback riding. Just being outside seems to fill me with energy.
I used to also volunteer at a civil war historical village. But haven't had time to go in past couple of years.
I've been trying to figure out how to make more hours in my day. lol

I draw greeting cards for friends and family. My avatar lion is one.

I love snorkeling in tropical waters.

Hosting dinner parties is another favourite. Sometimes it's a colour theme-everything the same colour. Green is easy: green fabrics on table, green food,
wear green. I've done pink, orange(lots of pumkin and carrots, orange cake), red, white, yellow, purple. My friends have sense of fun (and are a bit nutty) and so get into theme of things.:drinks_w ine:

Like to have lively music on sometimes:dance.

Love Always in Fun,

DJ'ing at a local radio station. Never saw myself as getting into the music biz but I do have to deal with record labels in regards to getting material to spin, etc.

Sailing, long walks - sometimes in the woods, mushroom hunting, woodworking, trading back and foot rubs with my sweety, meeting with my CSETI friends, helping my foster son with algebra, ....

I like to play with my dogs and go for long walks on the beach. Jazzercise is a fun hobby. Lifting weights, tai chi and martial arts are also favorites.

These day's, I find myself just sitting quietly amongst the natural enviroment that I am blessed to be custodian of. I listen to the sacred musical scale that come from all of the natural sounds of nature, (tones)

Every evening I play my guitar for 2hrs, this is my favorite method for operating from the right hemisphere, (brain) Totally in the "NOW".

There are many things that are fun, but the above are my favorites

peace always

I found a good site on the Internet for playing chess. It is for beginners so it isn't hard to play. In fact it makes mistakes just like a beginner! The programmer said he wanted to make a chess game he could beat. Since there is not a lot of stress, I often play a game when I first go on line, just to get me centered. It organizes my mind into logical order. And if I lose, so what? No one was watching.
