Where did everyone go?? Swanny here's where.

Way down upon the Swanee River,

Far, far away.

That's where my heart is yearning ever,

Home where the old folks stay.

Way down upon the Swanee River,

Far, far away-hey.

Wo, that's where my heart is yearning ever,

Home where the old folks stay.

All up and down the whole creation,

Sadly I roam.

I'm a still a-longin' for the old plantation,

Oh, for the old folks at home.

Sometimes we just need a break I guess. Spend time with the family, watch some tv, play a game and then meander back amongst our friends here.

Love and light,

I think it's a number of things.
There's really not much going on in the news around the world, except for the so called "swine flu", which has been covered here more than enough!!!
Threads are becoming stagnant and not moving at all, which is where guys like Antaletriangle are so important, because they keep things moving.
The owners here don't seem to care much about the forum because they can't even take 5 minutes out of their day to announce new interviews on the Project Camelot site!
Has anyone noticed the Athena Thompson section at the bottom of the Avalon forum?, no announcement there either.
The forum became a business as soon as the subscriptions went into place.
You never start a business and then walk away, because that's not good business!
Sarcasm? no, just truth! Sometimes truth hurts!
Oh, and where's the thanks to everyone for subscribing and donating from Bill and Kerry?
Again, not good business.

Do powerful people want this crowd to disperse...and the site to cease and desist? Don't be too sensitive folks. Thick skin might come in handy over the next few years.

I get enough daily fear from work of all the places, which I mentioned elsewhere on this forum (voluntary quarantine).

Though this place is still a decent place to stop by.

I believe people had to go and re-center themselves because sometimes, the stuff on here can be quite depressing.

This stuff can be scary, depressing, and intense. It's hard to know what the proper balance is. Luckily...people can come and go as they please...and avoid certain threads and posters if they wish. Some of us require massive doses of perplexity...and some might do better without any of this. We're all different...thank God.

There are immature people out there who are scared witless and there is no amount of assurance that can calm them down. These poor souls are bound for self destruction as they run around in circles making so much noise that they wouldn't hear the all-clear if it was sounded.

There are others who are mature enough to have worked out a plan to save themselves and pass the information on to others. Sadly, many of these 'others' are incapable of putting the information to use.

Then there are old fogies like me who have lived through numerous predictions that the world is going to end on the 32nd of Octember in the year umpty-doo.

So I see the reason for the silence being that 1, you can't say much when you're running around like a chicken with its head cut off. 2, you've told people how to help themselves and they don't even thank you so you give up. 3, like me, you've seen and heard it all before and you're still alive and kicking.

Eventually, people will get tired of waiting for the sword of Damocles to fall and realize that they have a life to get on with.

Which reminds me - the kettle's boiling and my mouth feels like the bottom of a bird cage. Catch you in the Lounge.

It was a little abrupt, the drop in the numbers here. That seemed odd. I noticed Steve-G, a mod, isn't with the forum any longer. I still find value in the hearts and minds here. An occasional drive-by by the founders might be good for morale.

I was wandering the same thing, "where did everyone go"? When I began this
awakening, I lived and breathed this stuff. However, I was one of the people that got scared and depressed, and it took a few people to pull my head out of my you know where. Now I still visit this site almost daily, and a few others, and to the best of my ability incorporate what I have learned into my
life. The one thing I know for sure is that balance makes for a happier person.

I think Dan put his "finger" on it.....its difficult to feel enthusiastic about something when the owners don't seem to care: has anyone ever got a note of thanks for the contributions made (financial or otherwise)? I haven't and i made a decent contribution to Camelot - so it doesn't make you feel "warm" towards the forum. I think when the time comes for people to renew their subscriptions, a lot may drop out.

This is the month of May or Mya,the month of the illusion being revealed.
Has it ever occured to any one, that the names May be gone, but the people are still here watching, asking the same question.

This was a shift, not a gradual dropping off.Last week the numbers were up and over a thousand. Two days ago it happened simply, by visually going from post to post, and then the numbers were gone. Thats my 6 cents

If i say that, then that will just be my opinion.I will say this, there has been an obvious split. I am thrilled to be here, in this part of the cell division.

When the time comes, will it seriously be as fast as that?A blink of an eye type thing?

My brain doesnt work that fast so I'd probably never notice!

Its nice to see the MODS aren't sticking in oar in to clear anything up

This forum is not the "owners' ", it is us who venture here to share what we share in words and sounds and pictures. For one thing, many probably need a media break, and to get centered. Many of us are preparing for the world meditation May 9th.And also we all are rising to a place of no chatter. Maybe 4-D is where we are more and more. That will be familiar to you who flicker back and forth contiously with more frequency. Also, there are obvious lulls in the 3-D pressure, and we seem to be in one right now. A good time to take a sancutary break inside. This forum is definitely a place of bodhisattvas, I think. The sincerity is radiant, and if some of us here can't talk (post) any more, so be it. There is a bond, though, and we'll be together , whether it is here posting or traveling together on high. Judy makes me want to sing a song, too............People get ready, there's a train a comin'................Love, bushycat

i've noticed that here in avalon something happened on May 4th... a shift of some sort...
May 4th was the chosen day for a big message disclosure -"the most important for humanity"- by a member of this forum...
to me, the long-awaited message didn't bring any revelation, and kind of disappointed me, so i tried to do some research on related topics on other websites...

but May 4th 'phenomena' seem to have had affected many other spiritual web/forums as well... there were almost empty!
so i decided to take a break from research and play some chess online (among other things, i'm a professional chess player on my way to the Grand Master title)...
but to my surprise, only two GMs were logged-in ! (usually we are 25-30)

so, what kind of shift has happened on May 4th?
